Marlon Humphrey News
Baltimore Ravens defensive back Marlon Humphrey (pectoral) expects to be ready by the start of training camp. His season ended after suffering a torn right pectoral muscle in Week 13. The 25-year-old's rehab process is "going well," and "it feels good to get back healthy again. "It's going well," Humphrey said. "I've been rehabbing that for the past three weeks in L.A., and it feels good to get back healthy again. I just get excited, raising my arm. So I'm really excited about getting fully healthy and getting ready for next year." The Ravens corner racked up 58 tackles, an interception, and a forced fumble over 12 games in 2021. Humphrey is expected to fully recover and have a vital role in the Ravens' secondary in 2022.
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey (pectoral) was confirmed to have suffered a torn pectoral muscle and will miss the remainder of the 2021 season, according to head coach John Harbaugh. This is another huge blow to the Ravens, who have already felt the wrath of the injury bug this season, as they are now without their top two cornerbacks. The Baltimore defense has had its struggles, and without their best defensive player things could get a lot uglier. They have been solid against the run, but an abysmal pass defense will likely be their biggest downfall as we approach the stretch run. Meetings with Joe Burrow, Aaron Rodgers, and Matthew Stafford are on the horizon, so the Baltimore D/ST won't have much fantasy relevance moving forward.
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey (shoulder) is suspected to be done for the year, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Head coach John Harbaugh was initially mum on the specifics of the injury, although he had originally indicated that the 25-year-old would be out for "a while." Nonetheless, this situation isn't ideal, given that the team has also been without cornerback Marcus Peters (knee), who tore his ACL back in September. As a result, it may be time to consider an alternative defensive unit for those who've had the Baltimore defense.
