Justice Hill Could Have Trouble In Week 2

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill was limited to 27 rushing yards and no touchdowns on seven carries in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins. The Ravens gave the ball to all three backfield options in the opening drive against Miami and it's clear they will be looking to utilize all three as the season progresses. There's no question that Hill will get touches, but Baltimore may look to push the ball through the middle of the Cardinals front line with talented outside linebackers Terrell Suggs and Chandler Jones helping Arizona's edge. This type of game plan would result in running backs Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards seeing the bulk of touches to start. Hill can be played as an RB3/4 in Week 2 with the most touchdown potential going to Ingram and Edwards.

Justice Hill Will Look To Exploit Running Style Against Dolphins

Baltimore Ravens rookie running back Justice Hill is in a favorable position to get a lot of touches this season. The fourth-round pick is labeled as the team's third running back on the depth chart going into Sunday's game against the Dolphins but offers a uniquely different running style than Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards. Ingram will be the starter utilized to break tackles and wear out defenses while Edwards can be used as a ground-and-pound back once defenses start getting tired. Hill's change-of-pace speed and versatility add great balance to the Ravens run-heavy offense. He looks to be locked as a rotational back with third-down opportunities. Baltimore plays a Dolphins Defense that gave up the second-most rushing yards in the league last year and could end up being a bottom-five defense at the end of 2018. Hill goes into Sunday's matchup as an appealing flex option.

Justice Hill Rushes For Eight Yards on Thursday

Baltimore Ravens rookie running back Justice Hill gained a total of eight yards on seven carries in Thursday night's preseason game against Philadelphia. After rushing for 49 yards and a touchdown in Baltimore's Week 2 preseason matchup against Green Bay, Thursday night's Week 3 performance was unimpressive. While Hill's individual performance may not have been exciting, the entire Ravens backfield only rushed for 40 yards altogether. Hill is fighting for touches in a crowded backfield and needs to put together a good outing in next week's last preseason game to help solidify his No. 2 spot behind Mark Ingram. Hill is currently being drafted in the 12th round, but we have seen him go as early as the eighth round. Draft him as an Ingram handcuff with potential for an exponential amount of touches as the season goes on.
