Justice Hill Not a Practical Fantasy Option Versus Minnesota

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill hasn't done much throughout the 2025 campaign. Although he had two touchdowns in the Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, he's been quiet overall from a production standpoint. The 27-year-old logged a season-high 35 offensive snaps in Week 6 versus the Los Angeles Rams. Yet, since the Ravens returned from their bye week, that number dropped considerably, with Hill logging only 11 offensive snaps in the Thursday night win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 9. With Baltimore looking to build on a two-game winning streak, the team is aiming for a much-needed victory over Minnesota on Sunday. The Vikings have looked good at times on the defensive side of the ball this season. However, regardless of the matchup, Hill isn't worth starting in any fantasy format. That likely won't change anytime soon, especially with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry getting most of the carries.

Justice Hill Not Much of an Option in Week 9

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill hasn't held much value throughout this season despite being the main pass-catching back for the team. He's had two finishes in the top 25 of running backs in half-PPR formats, and saw his snapshare fall a bit in Week 8 as Keaton Mitchell was active for the first time. Lamar Jackson returns for the Week 9 tilt against the Miami Dolphins, which means some more running plays designed for the QB and fewer touches for Hill. The Dolphins are ranked 28th against opposing backfields after giving up a total of 941 yards and six touchdowns on the ground versus 322 yards and one touchdown through the air. That likely means even more work for Derrick Henry, and if Mitchell keeps getting some snaps, that leaves Hill off the fantasy radar.

Justice Hill is Avoidable Against Bears in Week 8

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill has received a bit of an uptick in snaps while Lamar Jackson (hamstring) has been sidelined. A combination of the defense giving up a historic amount of points while the offense fails to get any type of rhythm meant Hill had some more passing plays to work with. Unfortunately, that only turned into nine fantasy points across their last two games. In the three games that Jackson started and finished, Hill registered a total of nine fantasy points as well. If Jackson returns against the Chicago Bears, Hill will likely take a bigger step back snap wise. On top of that, the Bears have been better against opposing running backs through the air than on the ground. Fantasy managers can avoid Hill in this matchup if possible.

Justice Hill's Role Expected to Decline with Lamar Jackson's Return

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill has seen consistent involvement to start the 2025 season. Through six games, he's logged 15 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown, while adding 18 receptions for 144 yards and another score. Hill and Derrick Henry have operated in a near-even timeshare, with Henry playing 54% of snaps and Hill at 45%. However, with Lamar Jackson returning to the lineup, that balance could shift. In Baltimore's five losses in 2024, Henry has averaged 14.8 carries per game, compared to 20.9 carries in their wins. Hill is heavily used as a receiver in this Ravens' offense, so when the Ravens lead games, they rely on their 6'3, 250-pound running back to take over. With a healthier roster and a favorable upcoming schedule, expect Hill's usage and snap share to decline as the Ravens put more on Henry's plate.

Justice Hill an Extremely Volatile Play in Week 6

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill has hit one very high output among many lows so far this season. His biggest value continues to be in full PPR formats, and the fact that the Ravens' defense has been so terrible that the offense has to abandon the run early. Hill has only registered one week finishing in the top 30 at the position, and has one more finish inside the top 36. The Los Angeles Rams are one of the toughest defenses against opposing backfields, which diminishes his value even further, even though Cooper Rush will likely have plenty of dump-off throws. Hill is projected as the RB51 and is avoidable in most league sizes this week.

Justice Hill High-Risk After Breakout Game

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill had a monster game last week, but should be considered only a RB4/Flex option in deeper formats in Week 5 against the Houston Texans. Hill has appeared with outsized fantasy performances from time to time during his career, but has never had back-to-back top-10 finishes as a fantasy running back. With quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) out, the Ravens are set to lean on the Derrick Henry-led running attack, which could mean fewer targets for Hill, the primary driver of his fantasy value. Against a Houston defense that allows scoring drives at the lowest rate in the NFL, managers should tread cautiously with Hill before expecting a repeat of last week.

Justice Hill In Line for More Playing Time Amidst Ravens' Injury Woes?

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill had his best game of the 2025 season in Week 4, recording 117 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on eight touches. Hill has just eight carries through four games this season and should not be expected to steal much rushing work away from Ravens RB1 Derrick Henry. However, Hill has 12 catches for 107 yards and a touchdown on 15 targets, and appears locked in as the team's primary passing-downs back. With Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) potentially facing a multi-week absence and the team's defense struggling, Baltimore could be chasing points more frequently over its next few games than in years past. That would unquestionably be a good thing for Hill's fantasy outlook. He profiles as a low-end flex option in PPR leagues heading into a Week 5 matchup against the Houston Texans.

Justice Hill Continues to Make Impact

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill has made a significant impact in the Ravens' offense through four weeks. Hill is coming off a career-best performance against the Kansas City Chiefs, racking up 117 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns on just eight touches. He's also out-snapped Derrick Henry in back-to-back weeks, largely due to Baltimore leaning on a pass-heavy approach against the Lions and the Chiefs. The Ravens face the Texans in Week 5, and if Houston's offense can take advantage of Baltimore's banged-up defense, Hill could once again see elevated usage. For now, he looks like a sneaky flex option with upside in PPR formats.

Justice Hill Carries Ravens Offense With Two Scores in Otherwise Gloomy Loss

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill had three carries, 76 rushing yards, five catches, 41 receiving yards, and two total touchdowns during Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Baltimore lost by three possessions and also watched Lamar Jackson (hamstring) leave with an injury, so it's fair to say that Hill's big game was one of the lone bright spots. He probably won't be able to replicate his big outing next week, especially since one of his touchdowns came on a 71-yard rush in garbage time. However, his general involvement and productivity indicate that he could still be in line for a larger role going forward. Hill played more than 50 percent of the snaps in Week 3 and has 11 catches over his last three games. Last season, he scored at least 11.5 fantasy points (PPR) in one-third of his contests. Moving forward, he should be viewed as a mid-to-low RB4 with RB3 upside in PPR leagues.

Justice Hill Sees Increased Involvement in Passing Game

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill saw a season high of four targets in Monday night's loss to the Lions. He caught three for 45 yards, which more than doubled his passing yards from the first two weeks. However, in a game where bell cow Derrick Henry failed to get rolling, outside of an early touchdown run, and had a costly fumble late in the game, Hill was not given a single carry. On a Ravens team not projected to see many multiple-score deficits, this was the exact game script that should have been to Hill's benefit. And while 45 yards from the running back position can be a fantasy difference maker, it's less impactful when it's the entirety of his output. With a more favorable schedule coming up for Baltimore, there will be few, if any, opportunities to sneak Hill into a flex spot.
