Ronnie Stanley Questionable to Return in Week 6 Due to Ankle Injury

Baltimore Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) is questionable to return to his team's Week 6 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams due to an ankle injury, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley. Stanley has been battling an ankle injury for multiple weeks, so this could be a re-aggravation of the existing ailment. If Stanley is unable to return, veteran tackle Joe Noteboom would likely step in as his replacement for the remainder of Week 6.

Kyle Hamilton, Ronnie Stanley Inactive for Ravens' Week 5 Contest

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (groin) and left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) are inactive for Sunday's Week 5 contest against the Houston Texans. Both players had been listed as questionable. Hamilton's absence was widely expected since he didn't practice this past week. Stanley, however, was a little more up in the air after he logged three limited sessions. In the end, though, neither starter will suit up. Baltimore is dealing with plenty of injuries on both sides of the ball, so this news is far from ideal. Reuben Lowery and Sanoussi Kane should earn more snaps at safety while Joseph Noteboom steps up to protect Cooper Rush's blindside.

Ronnie Stanley Questionable to Return Against Chiefs

Baltimore Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) exited during the first half of Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. He is officially questionable to return. Stanley was dealing with an ankle issue earlier this week, so it's possible he re-aggravated the same injury. The veteran lineman is a key piece of the offensive line as he protects Lamar Jackson's blindside and helps the rushing attack function. Joseph Noteboom will slot into the starting lineup until Stanley can return.

Ronnie Stanley Staying In Baltimore

The Baltimore Ravens announced Saturday that they've agreed to terms with offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley on a three-year deal worth $60 million. Stanley, entering his tenth season in the league, joined the club as the No. 6 overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft. The 30-year-old was among the most coveted free agents on the market before re-signing with the team that drafted him. Now, he'll continue to protect the blind side of quarterback Lamar Jackson as part of one of the NFL's top offenses. It's excellent news for Baltimore -- and Jackson -- as they'll continue to be a prominent source of fantasy output for the 2025 season. 2024 marked the first time in his nine-year career that he'd log an entire season's worth of games. Additionally, Stanley was named to his second Pro Bowl this past year.

Ravens Working On Extension For Ronnie Stanley

The sense out of the NFL Combine last week in Indianapolis was that the Baltimore Ravens and left tackle Ronnie Stanley could work out a contract extension soon, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. It's not a guarantee, but it sounds like both are sides are working to make it happen, with some around the league projecting the deal to be for somewhere between $21-23 million per year. The Rams already re-signed tackle Alaric Jackson, so if Stanley were to lock down an extension with Baltimore, it would boost Cam Robinson's free-agent market this offseason. On the open market, the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs could be two of the most aggressive teams in terms of targeting available tackles. Stanley, the former sixth overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft out of Notre Dame, made his second Pro Bowl in 2024 in his ninth year in the league.

Ronnie Stanley Rejuvenated Heading Into Eighth NFL Campaign

Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley has been no stranger to injuries and missing games over the last four seasons. The former Notre Dame standout has been scratched from 36 games since 2020 due to lower-body ailments. However, 2019 first-team All-Pro feels great heading into his eighth year with the organization. "I would just say I've been feeling more like myself than I have in previous years," Stanley told The Athletic. "For the most part, just to be able to feel like myself physically has made me a lot happier. To truly feel like that and be out there and just notice myself getting better every day and feeling more like my old self every day, it definitely makes me happy." Stanley has the potential to be one of the league's best offensive linemen when healthy, and the team will need him after moving on from tackle Morgan Moses and guard John Simpson this offseason.

Ronnie Stanley Ruled Out Against Bengals

Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (knee) has been ruled out of the Thursday Night Football contest against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. The 29-year-old was unable to practice all week ahead of the AFC North bout due to a knee injury. This is a big loss for the stout Ravens' offensive line, and Lamar Jackson could face more pressure from his blind side. In the absence of the Pro Bowl tackle, Patrick Mekari will draw the start.

Ronnie Stanley Ready To Play In Week 9

Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (shoulder) has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 9 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The star tackle was able to log in back-to-back full practices to end the week. That being said, Stanley should be ready to play this week, which is a relief for the Ravens offense. Fellow tackle Morgan Moses (shoulder) is currently questionable for this game. His absence could mean Patrick Mekari draws the start this weekend. Regardless, the Ravens are glad to have Stanley active for this game.

Ronnie Stanley, Marlon Humphrey Ruled Out For Ravens

Baltimore Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley (knee) and cornerback Marlon Humphrey (foot) have both been ruled out for the Week 3 game on Sunday against the visiting Indianapolis Colts. Stanley will be missing his second straight game due to a knee injury, with both Patrick Mekari and Daniel Faalele the options to replace him on quarterback Lamar Jackson's blind side. Humphrey is still recovering from foot surgery that he had in August and will have to wait until Week 4 to make his 2023 debut. With the 27-year-old missing from Baltimore's secondary yet again, Rock Ya-Sin will make another start for the Ravens against the Colts.

Ronnie Stanley Listed As Limited At Practice

Baltimore Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday in the lead-up to Week 1 of the 2023 regular season against the Houston Texans. Stanley's ankle has given him trouble since the second half of the 2020 season -- he's played in just 12 games in the last two years -- but the 29-year-old All-Pro said back in June that this is the healthiest he's felt in years. The Ravens are likely just playing it safe by keeping Stanley limited in practice heading into the start of a new season. If he is indeed past his frustrating ankle injury and can return to his All-Pro form, it would be a huge deal for the Ravens offense under new coordinator Todd Monken. He'll likely be available to protect quarterback Lamar Jackson's blind side in Week 1.
