Derrick Henry News
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry rushed 30 times for 109 yards and caught one pass for 19 yards in the 20-16 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18. The game was for the AFC South crown, so Tennessee will not take part in the postseason. Henry turned 29 years old a few days ago and his efficiency has declined in the past two seasons. However, he could continue to be a workhorse next year, depending on what the Titans do this off-season. Henry finishes the year with 349 attempts for 1,538 yards, and 13 rushing touchdowns and will likely be back in the mix for a first-round pick in redraft leagues next season.
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry (hip) was listed on the injury report this week, despite practicing in full on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. However, he's now off the final injury report, so he'll be a full go against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18. Henry is an easy must-start in fantasy leagues that extend to Week 18, but he's also a solid player to build a DFS lineup around. The Titans are in a must-win situation with a playoff berth on the line, so there's no cap on his workload. Henry has averaged 155.3 rushing yards in his last three games against the Jaguars, finding the end zone six times over that span.
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry (hip) is expected to return to action in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars after missing last Thursday's game with a hip injury. Henry was a full participant in Wednesday's practice for the second straight day. The Titans had nothing to play for in Week 17, so they wisely rested Henry. In a winner-take-all contest this weekend, the 29-year-old running back will be a must-start, high-end RB1 for fantasy managers. With quarterback Joshua Dobbs making his second straight start, the Titans will surely lean heavily on King Henry's shoulders as they attempt to win the AFC South division. In the first meeting with Jacksonville in Week 14, Henry had 17 carries for 121 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Between 2018 and 2020, Derrick Henry was not only extremely productive, but he was also hyper-efficient. Per PlayerProfiler, he ranked top-5 in yards created per touch in two of those three seasons and averaged over 4.93 yards per carry (YPC) in all three. In his historic 2020 campaign, Henry ranked just 19th in yards created per touch, however, he more than made up for it by averaging a whopping 5.36 yards per carry across 378 carries. But 2021 was a different story for the King. He averaged...
