Clayton Keller Takes Goal Streak To Five Games

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller celebrated a goal in a fifth consecutive game when he potted his 30th marker of the season in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Dallas. The 25-year-old, who's now had 30-plus goals in back-to-back seasons, became the first Coyote since Yanic Perreault in 2006-07 to score in five straight regular-season games. He's also had a pair of assists during the streak and is demonstrating impressive end-of-the-season form -- the American star has notched 10 points (eight goals, two assists) in his last nine appearances. Keller has been by far the most consistent offensive performer on the team and sits on 62 points (30 goals, 32 assists) with 67 games played.

Clayton Keller Likely To Return Tuesday

Arizona Coyotes forward Clayton Keller (upper body) is expected to return on Tuesday but is still being considered a game-time decision. Keller has missed four games with an upper-body injury but appears to be ready to go as long as he gets the green light from the medical staff. The dynamic winger has racked up 52 points (22 goals, 30 assists) in 57 games this year. He has continued to produce at a high rate, even with less-than-spectacular teammates. He should re-enter fantasy lineups if he is cleared before game time.

Clayton Keller Sidelined Into Next Week

Arizona Coyotes forward Clayton Keller will be sidelined until next week due to an upper-body injury. The American forward was injured during a 4-3 overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday, missed Thursday's game versus the Maple Leafs, and will also sit out Friday's contest at the Ottawa Senators. His absence looms large for a low-octane Coyotes offense as he leads the team in goals (22) and assists (30). Of course, his 52 points also pace the club. The former seventh-overall pick in 2016 recorded a career-high 37 goals and 86 points across 82 games last season. The Coyotes have dropped 14 straight games after losing in Toronto on Thursday by a 4-2 score.

Clayton Keller Out On Tuesday

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller (upper body) won't play on Tuesday versus Montreal. He suffered an upper-body injury on Sunday against Winnipeg, and according to Coyotes head coach Andre Tourigny, it will take "a few days" until Keller is available again. His absence leaves the Coyotes without their top scorer, who has registered 52 points (22 goals, 30 assists) in 57 games. Keller's first chance to return comes on Thursday versus Toronto.

Clayton Keller Injured On Sunday

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller suffered an upper-body injury in Sunday's contest against Winnipeg. He left the action after logging only 8:16 of ice time. Keller has yet to miss a game this season, but he should now be regarded as questionable for Tuesday's clash with Montreal. His absence would be a massive blow for Arizona, as Keller is the team leader in all of the major offensive categories with 22 goals, 30 assists, and 52 points through 57 games. Alex Kerfoot saw extra action without Keller on Sunday and might be his replacement in the top six versus the Canadiens.

Clayton Keller Scores Goal In Loss

Arizona Coyotes forward Clayton Keller scored his ninth goal of the season in Saturday's 5-3 loss against the Bruins. The 25-year-old ended a five-game goal drought with his even-strength marker, while he put the Coyotes on the scoreboard with their first goal of the contest in the early minutes of the second period. Keller has totaled nine goals and a team-high 25 points through 26 games, while serving as a quality forward option across standard fantasy formats.

Clayton Keller Records Hat Trick Of Assists

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller was one of the stars of the show as the team picked apart Washington 6-0 on Monday. Keller finished the contest with three primary assists, with two of the helpers coming on the power play. The Coyotes have heated up with five consecutive wins, and Keller has been a key contributor during the streak, notching six points during the stretch. He's now on a point-per-game pace, having tallied eight goals and 16 assists in 24 games. A whopping 14 of Keller's 24 points have come with the man advantage, as Arizona has scored on nearly 27 percent of its power-play chances. Only five players in the league have more power-play points.

Clayton Keller Pots A Power-Play Goal Versus Rangers

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller scored a power-play goal in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Rangers, finding the back of the net for the first time in 2023-24. He kicked off the campaign last week with a two-assist effort against the Devils. Keller had five total shots in 22:03 of ice time Monday, and he probably feels like Madison Square Garden is a second home to him, as the Coyotes star has tallied at least one point in all six outings he's had at the legendary arena. Keller and his crew will head across New York on Tuesday to take on the Islanders at the UBS Arena.

Clayton Keller Ready To Become 100-Point Player

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller believes he could get 100 points this season in the NHL. The 25-year-old is full of confidence after setting his new record and matching Keith Tkachuk's team record with an 86-point effort last season. He scored 37 goals and had 48 assists in 82 games after recovering from a broken femur. Only 11 players posted at least 100 points last season, so it's not an easy task to hit the landmark. But Keller has started to develop into one of the most productive wingers in the league and certainly appears to have the potential to become a 100-point scorer.

Clayton Keller Keeps Point Streak Going Friday

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller reached 14 games with his point streak on Friday, extending it with an early power-play assist in a 5-2 loss to Dallas. He is now tied for the fourth-longest scoring streak in franchise history. Dale Hawerchuk sits at the top of the list with an 18-game run from the 1984-85 season. Keller has amassed 11 goals and 12 assists during the red-hot stretch. The 24-year-old has bounced back superbly from a nasty injury suffered at the end of last season, posting 36 goals and 82 points in 76 games.

Clayton Keller Stretches Point Streak To 12 Games

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller extended his career-high point streak to 12 games on Sunday, scoring his 36th goal of the campaign in a 4-3 shootout loss. He surpassed Shane Doan and Jeremy Roenick for the longest scoring run by a Coyotes player since the franchise relocated in 1996-97. Keller has exploded for 11 goals and 10 assists during the scoring streak. The 24-year-old is trying to become the highest-scoring Coyote ever in a single season and has notched 80 points in 74 games.

Clayton Keller Stays Hot With Two Goals

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller scored twice in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to Edmonton, moving to 34 goals for the season. He gave the Coyotes two leads in the contest but the team couldn't hang on to either of them. Keller has become only the sixth player over the 20 years to post a point streak of at least 10 games. He's been on a complete tear during the scoring run, putting up nine goals and 10 assists. Having reached 78 points in 72 games, the 24-year-old is now tied for the second-most points by a Coyotes player in a single season, and Keith Tkachuk's all-time team record of 86 points is well within Keller's reach.

Clayton Keller Maintains Hot From Versus Calgary

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller had a goal and a power-play assist in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Flames. He helped to push his side to a 3-1 lead, but the Coyotes got outshot 51-14 and the team's point streak met its end at nine games. Keller had a huge role in the success, and his Wednesday's efforts give him six goals and eight assists across his last eight appearances. The 24-year-old leads the team in all of the major offensive categories and has tallied 24 goals and 31 assists in 58 games.

Clayton Keller Collects Three Points Friday Night

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller factored in all of the team's goals in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to Chicago, opening the scoring with only 1:28 played and delivering two assists. It was a big performance from Keller, whose overall form has been lacking since the turn of the year. The Coyotes leader has totaled 45 points for the campaign, but he's added only 11 points to his tally in 2023. However, he has now been productive in back-to-back games, and hopefully, this will help him to go on a good scoring run.

Clayton Keller Pots A Hat Trick Against Vegas

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller recorded his second career hat trick in Sunday's 4-1 win over Vegas. Dylan Guenther got the scoring started inside the first two minutes of play and Keller then took over, with only Phil Kessel's power-play goal ruining his effort for a natural hat trick. Keller has been slumping lately, going for just four points in his previous 11 January appearances, and this should be a nice boost for his confidence. Despite his recent struggles, Keller is still leading Arizona in all of the major offensive categories, boasting 18 goals, 23 assists and 41 points in 47 games.

Clayton Keller Scores Goal No. 15

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller scored his 15th goal of the season in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Winnipeg. He made it a tie game in the middle of the second frame, but Blake Wheeler had the answer less than six minutes later and the low-scoring Coyotes couldn't generate any more goals. Arizona is getting only 2.65 goals a night, so it's not easy to put up good offensive numbers on the team, but Keller has been moving near a point-per-game pace with 38 points tallied in 45 outings. He is by far the best scorer on the team, although Keller has hit a bit of a wall lately, logging only two goals and two assists in eight January appearances.

Clayton Keller Stays Red-Hot Versus Islanders

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller maintained his red-hot form against the Islanders Friday, scoring two goals in a 5-4 win. His second strike ended up being the game-winner in a back-and-forth contest. The 24-year-old has exploded for seven points in his past four appearances, moving to 12 goals and 17 assists for the whole season. For the first time in his career, Keller is averaging at least a point per game (1.04), and he is set to crush all of his previous career-high marks if he manages to keep this up.

Clayton Keller Celebrates His First Hat Trick

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller had a night to remember Sunday as he scored his first career hat trick in a 5-4 overtime win against Philadelphia. Keller opened the scoring with a strike on the power play and he went on to record two further goals, including the game-winner, in even-strength situations. He is the first Coyote this season to score three goals in a single game. With 26 games played, Keller has been able to average exactly a point per game, posting 10 goals and 16 assists. These are some great numbers on a poor team, although Arizona's struggles also mean that Keller doesn't have too many nights with a positive plus/minus. Despite his hat trick, the 24-year-old posted an even rating Sunday and he is minus-seven for the season.

Clayton Keller Pushes Point Streak To Five Games

Arizona Coyotes winger Clayton Keller scored in a second consecutive game and took his point streak to five games in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Rangers. He potted a power-play goal 8:33 into the third period, with Nick Ritchie and Travis Boyd collecting the assists. Keller has managed three goals in total during his streak, adding four assists. The Coyotes have even been playing winning hockey lately, so he hasn't hurt managers in the plus/minus category either, which is generally the case with Keller, as he's a very good player stuck on a bad team. With 15 games played, the 24-year-old has managed to notch six goals and 11 assists, but he also carries a minus-eight rating.

Clayton Keller Sits Out Another Preseason Tilt

Arizona Coyotes forward Clayton Keller (leg) will once again be absent on Saturday against Vegas, but he is expected to roll out in the team's season opener on Thursday against Pittsburgh. Keller, who hasn't played since fracturing his leg on March 30, was expected to end his lengthy absence on Friday against Vancouver, but he wasn't in the lineup. Saturday gave him another chance to pick up some preseason minutes, but the team has elected to keep Keller on the shelf until the regular season kicks off. Keller is stuck on a poor team, but he was nearly a point-per-game player last season with 28 goals and 35 assists in 67 outings. He should have another productive campaign in 2022-23, although the 24-year-old might need some time to regain his form after coming back from a nasty injury.
