Due to illness, the veteran forward was absent from Wednesday's win over the Ottawa Senators, missing his first game of the season. As a fourth-line center, Stenlund doesn't have any fantasy value. However, he has done solid work in the role for the Mammoth, recording 10 points (three goals, seven assists), 38 shots, 31 blocks, and 25 hits across 43 appearances, while winning 52.9 percent of his faceoffs. Stenlund's return will push Kailer Yamamoto out of the lineup.

Stenlund has tallied 10 points (three goals, seven assists), 38 shots, 31 blocks, and 25 hits in 43 games as a bottom-six forward for Utah. If Stenlund isn't available against Ottawa, Kailer Yamamoto is expected to make his first appearance of 2026. Yamamoto has not provided much fantasy value this season, settling for nine points (four goals, five assists) in 26 outings.

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Kevin Stenlund will get his first taste of action this season in Saturday's matchup against Colorado. He's replacing Patrik Laine (oblique strain) in the lineup and could be set to feature a lot more now, with the Finnish winger ruled out for at least four weeks. However, Stenlund doesn't carry a lot of fantasy value. He's posted only 20 points in 68 career games and will skate on the third line. Rookie Yegor Chinakhov will benefit the most from Laine's absence. He joins the first line on Saturday and can also look forward to some power-play time on the second unit.
