Lawson Crouse Pots Two Goals In Wednesday's Defeat

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse lit the lamp twice in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to Anaheim. He logged his first goals of the season to give the Coyotes a 3-2 lead, but the team couldn't hang on to victory. Following a very slow start, which saw Crouse go scoreless through his first five games of the season, he has begun to hit form lately, posting at least one point in three consecutive appearances. Crouse gets a quick opportunity to stretch his point streak even longer with Arizona back on the ice Thursday night versus Montreal.

Lawson Crouse Returns For Coyotes Monday

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse (illness) will be back in action Monday versus Chicago. He was forced to sit out Friday's 5-4 defeat against the Kings with an illness but has recovered over the weekend and is feeling ready to play again. The 25-year-old is a great two-way presence for Arizona, but he has been quiet offensively at the beginning of the season, logging only one point in six games with eight shots on goal. Crouse also has nine hits and six blocks to his name. Zach Sanford will exit the lineup.

Lawson Crouse Unlikely To Play Friday

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse is feeling sick and likely won't play Friday versus the Kings. The 26-year-old has just posted his first point of the campaign via an assist, but it looks like he will have to take Friday night off. Zach Sanford is expected to jump into the lineup as Crouse's replacement and make his team debut. He skated 16 games with Nashville last season, posting two goals and one assist in 16 appearances. Things went much better for the 2019 Stanley Cup champion in the AHL, where he had 26 points (12 goals, 16 assists) in 45 outings.

Lawson Crouse Delivers Three Assists Monday

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse had a three-assist game against Edmonton on Monday in a 5-4 loss. He set up Matias Maccelli twice in even-strength situations and tallied a power-play assist on a Barrett Hayton goal. Crouse, who is also always a major physical force on the ice, added two hits to his tally and recorded one shot on goal and one block in 18:01 of ice time. The 25-year-old has had a career year in 2022-23 with 22 goals and 42 points in 70 games. The Coyotes continue to rack up losses, but they have been very prolific over the second half of the season, and offensive players like Course have had a fun time.

Lawson Crouse On Target Twice Monday

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse scored two goals as the team ended an awful 18-game road skid with a 4-2 victory in Nashville. He tied the game at two with a power-play marker in the second period and then popped up with the game-winning goal in the third. Crouse is the second-best goal-scorer on the team with 19 goals in 49 games. He has added 12 assists with 95 shots, 115 hits and 34 blocks. It's been a good campaign for the 25-year-old, who needs only three more points to match his last season's career-high 34 points.

Lawson Crouse, Matias Maccelli Set To Return

Arizona Coyotes wingers Lawson Crouse (upper body) and Matias Maccelli (lower body) will return to action on Thursday against St. Louis. Crouse makes his way back from a four-game absence, while Maccelli will play for the first time since Dec. 23. The 22-year-old is among the top-scoring rookies in the league this season with 22 points tallied across 30 outings. In Crouse, the Coyotes get back one of their best goal-scorers who has 16 markers for the campaign. He has also picked up 11 assists in 43 games. Both players should land in top-six roles.

Lawson Crouse Misses Another Game Sunday

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse (upper body) will remain on the shelf for Sunday's contest against the Golden Knights. The Coyotes will be without their top goal-scorer for a third consecutive game. Crouse has lit the lamp 16 times in 43 games this season, adding 11 assists. Jack McBain looks set to continue to fill in for him on Sunday. The 23-year-old hasn't yet managed to take advantage of bigger minutes, going scoreless in the two games Crouse has missed. In fact, the whole team has failed to score in back-to-back without Crouse, so he's been a huge miss.

Lawson Crouse Won't Play On Saturday

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse (upper body) will remain on the shelf for Saturday's action against Dallas. The 25-year-old kicked off the week with a superb three-assist effort against Detroit, but he then exited the lineup Thursday versus Winnipeg and will miss a second consecutive game Saturday. Crouse is a big two-way force who has tallied 27 points and 105 hits in 43 appearances this season. Jack McBain replaced him on the first line Thursday and could remain in the role until Crouse is ready to return. The Coyotes also have a game coming up on Sunday versus Vegas.

Lawson Crouse Delivers Three Assists

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse had a hat trick of assists in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout victory over Detroit. Nick Bjugstad, Travis Boyd and Dylan Guenther lit the lamp following Crouse's good work. The 25-year-old had his fifth multi-point outing of the season. With 27 points earned through 43 games, Crouse is averaging a career-high 0.57 points per game, and he's also a big force physically, having registered 105 hits for the campaign. Crouse has even averaged a whopping 4.4 hits per game over his last five appearances.

Lawson Crouse Leads Coyotes To A Historic Win

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse went off for two goals and an assist as the team ended a 19-game losing run against Boston Friday. It marked the second-longest losing streak a team has had against a single opponent in NHL history. Crouse combined with Matias Maccelli to help Josh Brown to start the scoring just 23 seconds into the game and both of his goals came at vital times, as Crouse tied the game at two and ended up potting a 4-3 game-winner with 14 seconds remaining in regulation. The Coyotes hadn't beaten the Bruins since 2010 when Crouse was only 13 years old. He's been a big player for Arizona this season, leading the team with 12 goals. Through 24 outings, Crouse has also managed to pick up three assists.

Lawson Crouse Returns For Coyotes

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse (illness) will return to the lineup Saturday versus Vancouver following a brief stint on the sidelines. He sat out Thursday's 5-3 loss to L.A. with a non-COVID illness. Crouse has been a great pickup for managers in deep leagues this season, scoring a team-high 10 goals in 20 appearances and delivering 50 hits. He was on a run of four goals in four games before missing the Kings game, so Crouse is currently riding some very good momentum, and he could have another fun night on Saturday against the team that is allowing the third-most goals per game this season.

Lawson Crouse Set To Miss The Rest Of The Season

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse (hand) is set to miss the rest of the season. He reportedly broke a bone in his hand while blocking a shot in Monday's 6-1 loss to Edmonton and will need at least four weeks to recover. It's a real shame, as Crouse was having a nice campaign with 20 goals, 34 points and 181 hits across 65 outings. With Clayton Keller (leg) also done for the year, the Coyotes top six will look quite interesting down the stretch, to say the least. There are going to be a lot of opportunities for others to step up and make an impression. For example, Jan Jenik already boosted his stock with two goals in Wednesday's 5-2 win over San Jose.

Lawson Crouse Exits With Injury

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse had his night at the office cut short by a lower-body injury Monday against Edmonton. He didn't appear for the third period and it looks like it might be a long-term thing. "I don't know, but I'm really concerned," said Arizona head coach Andre Tourigny postgame. "It looks like it won't be short. We won't panic right away, but it doesn't look like it's a short-term thing." Crouse has had a career year with 20 goals and 34 points across 65 games. He also leads the team with 181 hits, so Crouse's presence will be missed at both ends of the ice. He's been a part of the first power-play unit and the second line.

Lawson Crouse Notches First NHL Hat Trick

Arizona Coyotes winger Lawson Crouse recorded his first career NHL hat trick in a 5-3 victory over the Senators Monday. Crouse now has 18 goals and 12 helpers in 57 contests this season. In his past five games, he's logged six points. He typically skates on Arizona's second line and first powerplay unit. Fantasy managers may want to look at picking up Crouse as the Coyotes have won five of their last six games.

Lawson Crouse Explodes For Four Points

Arizona Coyotes left wing Lawson Crouse had a career night against San Jose on Tuesday, notching two goals and two assists in an 8-7 shootout loss. He handed out a team-high three hits as well and produced five shots on goal. Crouse reached 15 points for the campaign with the effort, meaning he's now already surpassed his points total from last season (13). He entered Tuesday's action with a run of just one point in 10 games, so times have been pretty tough for Crouse, but he's currently a top-six piece for the Coyotes and should pick up speed now.

Lawson Crouse Pots Only Coyotes Goal Thursday Night

Arizona Coyotes left wing Lawson Crouse scored his second goal of the campaign in Thursday's 5-1 loss at Tampa. Barrett Hayton picked up the only assist on the play 12:36 into the third period. Crouse, who's on three points for the year, fired off three shots in total and recorded two hits and seven penalty minutes. The 24-year-old now has 18 penalty minutes for the season in just seven outings, and he's also produced 18 shots and 13 hits. Arizona is looking awful on the ice and has been badly stung by injuries. Head coach Andre Tourigny had Crouse skate on the top line Thursday night with Hayton and Clayton Keller.

Lawson Crouse Sits Out Friday Night

Arizona Coyotes left wing Lawson Crouse (lower body) won't feature in Friday's battle with the Sharks and it's likely that he will miss Saturday's rematch as well. The 23-year-old has been a one-man wrecking crew at times this season, racking up 155 hits in 51 appearances. Offensively, Crouse has provided four goals and nine assists with 70 shots. His absence gives Hudson Fasching a chance to make his fifth outing of the season. The 25-year-old is pointless so far with six shots, three hits and a minus-three rating.
