Dylan Holloway Good to Go for Start of Season

St. Louis Blues left wing Dylan Holloway (oblique) is fully healthy for the start of the season. Speaking to Andy Strickland of FanDuel Sports Network, Holloway said he has been back to 100 percent for three months. His 2024-25 campaign ended early after Holloway tore his oblique off the hip bone. He missed the final five regular-season games and St. Louis' seven-game first-round playoff series against the Winnipeg Jets. Holloway had an eye-popping first year with the Blues, recording 63 points (26 goals, 37 assists) with 165 hits in 77 appearances. Another 60-point campaign looks like a very realistic target for him in 2025-26.

Dylan Holloway On The Mend Following Surgery

St. Louis Blues forward Dylan Holloway (undisclosed) underwent surgery and was not expected back for the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, according to general manager Doug Armstrong. The 23-year-old is on track to be healthy for the start of 2025-26. After inking a two-year, $4.58 million offer sheet, Holloway had his first year with the Blues this season. It was an impressive campaign, as Holloway more than tripled his career points tally, notching 26 goals and 37 assists in 77 contests. The former University of Wisconsin standout was an afterthought in Edmonton but appears to have found the ideal situation to enjoy a highly productive NHL career moving forward.

Dylan Holloway Considered Week-To-Week

St. Louis Blues forward Dylan Holloway (lower body) has been listed as week-to-week. The Blues will be forced to spend time without Holloway after he sustained a lower-body injury in Thursday's victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Holloway's absence from the lineup leaves St. Louis without its third-best scorer. The 23-year-old has recorded 63 points (26 goals, 37 assists) in 77 games. Jimmy Snuggerud, who made his NHL debut earlier in the week, is set to take on a first-line role in Holloway's absence. On Thursday, Snuggerud recorded his first career point with an assist and has tallied four shots on goal in his first two NHL games while averaging 13:33 of ice time.

Dylan Holloway Scores First Career Hat Trick

St. Louis Blues left wing Dylan Holloway scored his first career hat trick during their victory over the Detroit Red Wings on Monday evening. Holloway scored his first goal of the game on a slap shot in the opening frame which beat Detroit netminder Cam Talbot. In the second frame, Holloway would find the back of the net for the second time, this time on a snap shot which further extended their lead. Holloway would cap off his first career hat trick with an empty-net goal in the final minutes. This was a much-needed breakout performance for the 23-year-old as he carried a six-game point drought into this game. Before this drought he was riding a seven-game point streak. Holloway will look to kickstart another point streak on Friday evening, against the Nashville Predators.

Dylan Holloway Avoids Serious Injury

St. Louis Blues left wing Dylan Holloway (upper body) has avoided serious injury and could be an option for Thursday's matchup against Utah. Holloway was struck by a puck in the neck area in Tuesday's game against Tampa Bay and was taken to the hospital. He returned to the team's practice facility on Wednesday. Holloway has enjoyed a positive start with his new team. He has recorded six points (four goals, two assists) in 13 games with 22 shots and 29 hits. The 23-year-old was recently promoted to the second line, giving him additional fantasy value.

Dylan Holloway Taken To Hospital After Being Hit By A Puck

St. Louis Blues left wing Dylan Holloway was taken to the hospital after he was hit by a puck in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Tampa Bay. He was hit in the neck area with 2:37 remaining in the first period. Holloway managed to finish his shift but was then stretched away from the bench area. The Blues announced that Holloway was alert and stable. This was a scary incident, but it's great to know that the player appears to be fine. However, the Blues likely have to be without him for a bit. After signing an offer sheet to join St. Louis from Edmonton, Holloway has opened the 2024-25 campaign with six points (four goals, two assists) through 13 games. He's filled a top-six role lately due to Robert Thomas' (ankle) absence.

Dylan Holloway Joins Blues

The St. Louis Blues have snapped up forward Dylan Holloway after the Edmonton Oilers elected against matching a two-year, $4.58 million offer sheet. Holloway, a former Hobey Baker Award finalist, moves on from Edmonton after making 89 appearances with the team. He skated in 38 games last term, posting six goals and nine points. Holloway added seven further points (five goals, two assists) in 25 playoff contests as the Oilers reached the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 2006. The 22-year-old, who was selected 14th in the 2020 draft, didn't play a large role for the team, but he has shown good upside with productive AHL outings. Edmonton received a third-round pick as compensation from the Blues.

Dylan Holloway Inks Offer Sheet With Blues

Edmonton Oilers forward Dylan Holloway signed a two-year, $4.58 million offer sheet with the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday. The 22-year-old will be on the move if Edmonton doesn't match the offer in seven days. It's going to be a tricky task because the team is currently over the salary limit. The situation is further complicated by St. Louis' decision to also tender an offer sheet to Oilers defenseman Philip Broberg. Holloway has been close to a point-per-game pace in the AHL, but his offensive impact has been limited in the NHL. In 2023-24, Holloway registered nine points (six goals, three assists) in 38 appearances. However, he has averaged close to two hits per game for his NHL career, which makes him valuable in some fantasy formats.

Dylan Holloway Set For NHL Debut In Game 4

Edmonton Oilers forward Dylan Holloway will make his NHL debut in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final against the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night. The Oilers will be without Evander Kane (suspension) and Kailer Yamamoto (upper-body) in the must-win contest to extend their season, resulting in the 20-year-old forward to make his debut. Holloway was drafted 14th overall in the 2020 NHL draft, and he spent the 2021-22 season with the Bakersfield Condors in the American Hockey League with a total of eight goals and 22 points through 33 games.
