Eetu Luostarinen Expected to be Available For Stanley Cup Finals

Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen (undisclosed) will likely be good to go for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Per Michael Russo of The Athletic, Panthers head coach Paul Maurice believes the 26-year-old will be fine for the start of the series, despite exiting Wednesday's series-clinching 5-3 win against the Carolina Hurricanes due to an undisclosed injury. Luostarinen has at least a week to recover, with the Finals not scheduled to start before June 4. If the Dallas Stars win Game 5 against the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday, the Finals will kick off on June 7. Luostarinen has played a big role in Florida's success this postseason as a member of a highly effective third line. He has scored four goals and 11 points in 17 outings.

Eetu Luostarinen Enjoys Three-Point Night in Game 7

Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen finished Sunday's 6-1 victory in Game 7 against the Toronto Maple Leafs with a goal and two assists. Florida's third line had another productive outing, as each member scored a goal and the trio combined for seven points. Luostarinen finished last year's playoff run with only eight points, but he is averaging a point per game this year through 12 outings, having tallied three goals and nine assists. No other Panther has more points than Luostarinen, who has impressively done all of his scoring during even-strength play.

Eetu Luostarinen Stretches Point Streak To Four Games

Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen posted two assists in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, extending his point streak to four games. Florida's third line continued to purr, and Luostarinen helped both of his running mates, Brad Marchand and Anton Lundell, on the scoreboard. The Panthers would certainly prefer to have their top guns firing on all cylinders, but they will be happy with what the third line, led by Luostarinen, has done in these playoffs. Luostarinen has recorded two goals and eight points, doing all of his scoring over the past four games. He shares the postseason scoring lead on the team with Lundell, while Marchand is just behind them with seven points.

Eetu Luostarinen Explodes For Four Points In Series-Clincher

Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen recorded a postseason career-high four points as the team finished off the Tampa Bay Lightning with a 6-3 victory on Wednesday night. Luostarinen played his part in the memorable win with a goal and three assists, falling only one point short of the franchise record for the most points in a single playoff game. However, he did establish a franchise playoff record for the most points in a road contest and became the first player in Panthers history to score four points during a potential series-clinching game. This wasn't the first time Florida's third line made an impact this postseason, and the team could make a deep run again if Luostarinen and company continue to provide secondary scoring. Luostarinen finished the first-round matchup with one goal and four assists in five games.

Eetu Luostarinen Returns For Stanley Cup Finals Rematch

Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen (personal) will rejoin the action on Thursday against the Edmonton Oilers. The 26-year-old missed Tuesday's trip to Nashville due to the birth of his child. Luostarinen scored in his previous outing against the Seattle Kraken, but offense has been hard to come by for him for most of the 2024-25 campaign. In 58 appearances, Luostarinen has notched 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists). Florida plans to deploy Luostarinen in his usual spot on the third line, while Justin Sourdif, who scored his first career goal in Tuesday's 4-1 victory, is back in the minors.

Eetu Luostarinen Will Miss Tuesday's Game

Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen (personal) will not be in the lineup on Tuesday against the Nashville Predators. He has not traveled with the team to Music City, as Luostarinen and his wife are expecting a child. Luostarinen is sporting 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists) through 58 appearances this season, but his impact has been limited in recent weeks. Over his last 20 outings with the Panthers, Luostarinen has added to his points tally only five times. Florida is expected to call up a forward from the minors to fill in for Luostarinen on Tuesday. His first chance to return will be on Thursday against the Edmonton Oilers when the Panthers are back home.

Eetu Luostarinen Inks Extension With Panthers

Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen has agreed to a three-year extension with the team, signing a deal that reportedly has a $3 million cap hit. Luostarinen is set to enter the final season of a two-year, $3 million contract, coming off a breakout campaign. The Finnish forward had 17 goals and 43 points in 82 regular-season appearances. He added five points in 16 playoff games before getting knocked out of the lineup with a broken tibia. Luostarinen has proven himself as an effective player who can be used throughout the lineup, and the Panthers will be pleased to have managed to lock him up through the 2026-27 campaign.

Eetu Luostarinen Expected To Be Available For Game 1

Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen (undisclosed) has recovered well and is expected to play in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals Saturday versus Vegas. Luostarinen was hurt in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals when he blocked a shot and played just 7:32 in the contest. The 24-year-old has contributed two goals and three assists in 16 postseason games during the team's run to the Finals. He's been fairly quiet on the offensive front, but Luostarinen has helped out with 37 hits and 13 blocked shots on the defensive side of things, skating with Anton Lundell and Sam Reinhart on the third line.

Eetu Luostarinen Adds Two Points To His Tally

Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen continued his recent scoring surge with a goal and an assist in Friday's 4-3 overtime win against Chicago. He scored his 16th goal and had his 20th assist when the Panthers came back from two down to take a 3-2 lead in the second period. The 24-year-old has tallied 14 of his 36 points since the start of last month, providing six goals and eight assists. The productive period has given Luostarinen a promotion to the top line and it doesn't look like he will be dropping down from it soon.
