J.T. Miller Scores Dramatic Game-Winner

Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller scored a huge game-winning goal in Thursday's 3-2 victory against Edmonton, finding the back of the net with only 33 seconds left in regulation. Vancouver fell behind twice on home ice in the game, but Miller's late heroics gave the team a 3-2 series lead. It was only fitting that it came from him, as 2023-24 has been a massive year for Miller. After posting his first 100-point campaign during the regular season with 37 goals and 66 assists, Miller is tied with Brock Boeser for most playoff points on the Canucks roster. The first-year All-Star has managed 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in 11 playoff postseason appearances.

J.T. Miller Reaches 100 Points With Three-Assist Effort

Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller became the seventh player in franchise history to post a 100-point campaign when he finished Monday's 4-3 win over Vegas with three assists. A couple of Jack Eichel goals put the Canucks in an early two-goal hole, but Miller's elite playmaking helped Vancouver to grab the victory in the end. Two of his assists came with the man advantage. Miller, who has registered 35 goals and 65 assists in 78 outings, likely won't settle for 100 points for the season as he enters the final four contests with an eight-game scoring streak.

J.T. Miller Posts Four-Point Performance In High-Scoring Loss

Vancouver Canucks center J.T. Miller finished with his first hat trick of the season and totaled a team-high of four points in Monday's 10-7 loss against the Wild. Miller's four-point performance matched his season high, as the veteran forward began the season with four points in a victory against the Oilers on Oct. 11. Miller's quality performance brings his season totals to 27 goals and 74 points through 57 games to lead the Canucks in scoring over Elias Pettersson's total of 73 points.

This marks Miller's sixth effort with at least three points this season. It's been a fantastic campaign for the 30-year-old, who's been one of the most prolific players in the league. Miller's 39 points currently put him behind only Tampa Bay's Nikita Kucherov (42) on the league's scoring charts. He's totaled 14 goals and 25 assists in 26 outings, recording multiple points 12 times.

He put the Canucks on the board with a short-handed tally in the first period and provided the game-winner with just 20 seconds played in the extra frame. Not a bad way to celebrate your 700th career game. Miller has been enjoying very good form over the latter half of the season, collecting 28 points in his past 25 games. J.T. Miller Could Be Back In Action Thursday

Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller (lower body) is regarded as a game-time decision for Thursday's contest against Minnesota. It's been some turn of events after the team ruled Miller to be week-to-week on Monday. It appeared as though Miller was dealing with something that will keep him out for multiple games, but he could now end up missing just one. The 29-year-old has had an up-and-down campaign, posting 54 points in 59 games. He was enjoying a hot spell before getting hurt and will hope to continue it on Thursday if he is indeed able to play. Across his last 11 games, Miller has notched 12 points.

J.T. Miller Out Week-To-Week

Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller will miss Monday's contest against Dallas and is considered week-to-week with a lower-body injury. Miller will be unavailable for the first time this season, heading to the shelf with 54 points earned across 59 outings. Aatu Raty now looks in line for a promotion into the top six. The 20-year-old was picked up last month from the Islanders in the Bo Horvat trade and he's struggled to get minutes in the team, but now there's a good chance to test him out in a bigger role. Raty had two points in 14 games with the Islanders this season and he's posted 16 points across 35 AHL outings.

J.T. Miller Picks Up Three Points On Sunday

Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller had a three-point outing against Winnipeg on Sunday, notching a goal and two assists in a 7-4 defeat. He scored the team's first goal and had two assists when the Canucks erased a multi-goal deficit in the second period, but the Jets went on to dominate the end of the game. Miller's second assist came on the power play and he now has 17 points in total with the man advantage this season. Miller's work overall consists of 15 goals and 20 assists in 39 games. He's been a constant threat throughout the season with a number of teammates, but the defense keeps letting Vancouver down and it's resulted in a minus-14 rating for Miller.

J.T. Miller Leads The Way With Three Points

Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller was the main catalyst in Saturday's 5-1 win over Vegas, registering three points. He handed out two assists and ended up with the eventual game-winning goal. Two of Miller's points came on the power play. The Canucks have finally found some form lately and the team's improved play has helped Miller to put together a seven-game point streak. Across the last 15 games, Miller has been held off the score sheet just once, and he has tallied 11 goals and 22 points across the whole season. The 29-year-old has really stepped it up this month, and he's even put up more points in the first 21 games of the campaign than he did during his career year last season when he had 99 points.

J.T. Miller Gets Hurt In First Canucks Win

Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller needed to be helped off the ice after blocking a shot in the dying seconds of the team's first win of the season against Seattle Thursday night. It's currently unclear if he was seriously hurt. Bruce Boudreau finally earned his 600th win in the NHL after Miller & Co. bounced back from losing the first period 2-1. The 29-year-old grabbed a power-play goal from the contest and also had five penalty minutes and four hits in an eventual 5-4 win. He's now on four goals and two assists for the campaign. The Canucks get no rest and play again Friday versus Pittsburgh, meaning Miller has very little time to shake off the injury.

J.T. Miller Signs Long-Term In Vancouver

Center/left winger J.T. Miller has agreed to a seven-year, $56 million extension with the Vancouver Canucks that carries an average annual value of $8 million. The deal will start at the beginning of next season and will take him through his age 37 season in 2029-30. After all the talk of Miller getting traded this past season that lasted through the summer, the two sides ended up getting a deal done that keeps Miller with the Canucks long-term. After a decent start to his career, the versatile forward took off once traded to Vancouver, posting 217 points in 202 games in his first three years. Last season, he was just one point shy of the century mark, posting 99 points (32 goals). It is tough to say how the deployment will line up in Vancouver this year, but Miller will certainly be a big part of the top six and see adequate powerplay time as well. He should be drafted confidently in the late-second/early-third round in standard 12-team leagues.

J.T. Miller Has Career-High Five Assists Versus Arizona

Patrik Sundstrom holds the franchise record for most assists in a game with six. The 29-year-old is tied for the sixth-most assists in the league with 62 and can attack the 100-point mark in the final few games of the regular season. He's racked up a career-high 91 points in 72 appearances and Vancouver has seven more contests to come.

J.T. Miller Grabs Two Points Against Colorado

Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller played a major part in Wednesday's surprising 3-1 victory over Colorado, recording the game-winning goal and bagging an assist. Miller has started to build a new point streak with back-to-back multi-point efforts after seeing a 13-game run end a week ago. He's had a massive year with 77 points in 63 games, joining Connor McDavid and Johnny Gaudreau as the only players in the league with 25-plus goals and 50-plus assists. Miller should be an automatic starter for fantasy managers, and his linemates Tanner Pearson and Conor Garland are worthy of some attention as well.

Miller is carrying the NHL's longest active point streak and has recorded a league-high 25 points in total since Feb. 12. It's been an immense run from the 29-year-old and the chances of it continuing on Thursday seem very high, with Vancouver facing the Red Wings, who are allowing the second-most goals in the league.

J.T. Miller Runs Point Streak To Six Games Thursday

Vancouver Canucks center J.T. Miller had quite the night as he had a goal and two assists in a 5-2 road win over the San Jose Sharks. Miller added an unassisted goal late in regulation while setting up goals by Bo Horvat and Brock Boeser. Vancouver has won every game coached by Bruce Boudreau so far and Miller has nine points in that span. That brings the center up to ten goals and 32 points in 30 games. This has been more the norm than the exception in Vancouver for the forward. Miller could potentially exceed his career high of 72 points set before the pandemic.
