Tyler Tucker Remains Out Sunday

St. Louis Blues defenseman Tyler Tucker (lower body) will miss a third consecutive game on Sunday against the Winnipeg Jets. Tucker continues to nurse a lower-body ailment that he suffered a week ago in Game 4 of the series. This will end up being his last appearance of the season if the Blues do not win on Sunday night. Due to Tucker's absence, Ryan Suter is set to continue as Nick Leddy's partner on the third defensive pairing. Suter picked up his first point of the postseason with an assist in Friday's 5-2 win. Over four appearances, he has also recorded seven blocks and one shot on goal.

Tyler Tucker To Remain Out On Friday

St. Louis Blues defenseman Tyler Tucker (lower body) did not skate on Friday morning and is expected to miss a second consecutive game in the first-round series against the Winnipeg Jets. The 25-year-old suffered a lower-body injury in Game 4. With him out, the Blues reinserted Ryan Suter back into the lineup for Game 5. Overall, the veteran rearguard has made three appearances in the series, recording four blocks and a minus-two rating while averaging 16:30 of action. Suter's best days are clearly behind him, and DFS managers should look for other options.

Tyler Tucker Ruled Out For Game 5

St. Louis Blues defenseman Tyler Tucker (lower body) will miss Wednesday's Game 5 against the Winnipeg Jets. The 25-year-old sustained a lower-body injury on Sunday in Game 4 of the series. Tucker has made his first three career playoff appearances this year, registering one goal, four shots, and 12 hits. Ryan Suter is set to fill Tucker's spot in the lineup on Wednesday. The 40-year-old veteran has been a healthy scratch for two games. He picked up three blocks with a minus-one rating across the first two games of the matchup. These days, Suter offers very little going forward, but Blues head coach Jim Montgomery has called him the team's "No. 1 penalty-killing defenseman."

Tyler Tucker Makes Early Exit Sunday

St. Louis Blues defenseman Tyler Tucker (lower body) exited early on Sunday against the Winnipeg Jets and may face an extended absence. Tucker, who logged the game-winning goal in Sunday's 5-1 victory, appeared to have hurt his right leg late in the third period. He needed help to get off the ice. While there were no updates on him after the game, Tucker is likely to miss the remainder of the series, according to Lou Korac of The Hockey News. Tucker entered the lineup for Game 2 and has recorded four shots on goal and 12 hits while averaging 14:23 of ice time in the postseason. Veteran Ryan Suter, who has been a healthy scratch for two games, may have the opportunity to rejoin the action in his absence.

Tyler Tucker Misses Third Straight Game Saturday

St. Louis Blues defenseman Tyler Tucker (upper body) will not play on Saturday against the Chicago Blackhawks. He has been sidelined by an upper-body injury, sitting out a third consecutive game. Tucker is considered day-to-day, so he should be ready to return to the lineup following the conclusion of the 4 Nations Face-Off. The 24-year-old had a hot spell last month with four points (two goals, two assists) over a five-game span, but these remain his only points for the season through 19 outings. Nick Leddy has taken Tucker's spot in the lineup, returning to action after missing 16 weeks with a lower-body injury.

Tyler Tucker Comes Out Of Blues Lineup Again

St. Louis Blues defenseman Tyler Tucker will sit out Friday's matchup against New Jersey as a healthy scratch. The 23-year-old will take up a familiar place in the press box, as Tucker was also scratched for two consecutive games before returning to the lineup in Wednesday's 4-1 defeat against the Avalanche. He has tallied one goal in six appearances this season, adding six blocks with nine hits. Robert Bortuzzo will take over from Tucker on Friday, jumping into action for only the third time this season.
