Leandro Pineda Performing Well In First Look At Double-A
Philadelphia Phillies outfield prospect Leandro Pineda has performed quite well through his first look at Double-A. Through the small five-game stint, the 22-year-old has posted a .368/.429/.737 line with two home runs, four RBI, and a 2:2 BB:K ratio. Pineda opened the season by getting his second extended look at High-A. During this 78-game stretch, Pineda held a .260/.327/.394 line, which was nearly identical to his production across 107 games at High-A last summer. Pineda is currently outside of the top 30 prospects in the Philadelphia system on MLB.com but remains a name to keep an eye on in dynasty leagues, as he may have turned the corner in the minor leagues.
