Will Fries Agrees To $88 Million Contract With Minnesota

Former Indianapolis Colts offensive guard Will Fries has agreed to a five-year, $88 million deal with the Minnesota Vikings, according to NFL insider Ari Meirov. Fries was a seventh-round pick by the Colts out of Penn State in the 2021 NFL Draft and has played in 41 games (31 starts) in four NFL campaigns. The 26-year-old is credited will allowing just two sacks last season, though he was limited to just five games. He joins former teammate Ryan Kelly on the Minnesota offensive line that is poised to be one of the better units in the NFL following their free-agent activity.
