Nashville Predators defenseman Alexandre Carrier (undisclosed) is considered a game-time decision for Wednesday's clash with the Kings. He was limited to only eight minutes of action against Ottawa on Monday due to an unspecified ailment, but it looks like Carrier has a chance to play on Wednesday versus Los Angeles. The 27-year-old has notched 14 points (four goals, 10 assists) in 46 appearances this season while also making a mark on the defensive end with 92 blocks.

Carrier does very little offensively, with him sitting on one point in 23 games, but he has brought a physical presence to the lineup and boasts 30 hits for the campaign with 27 blocks. With Jeremy Lauzon (upper body) also having gone down with an injury at the weekend, the Predators have called up Kevin Gravel and Roland McKeown from the AHL, and both players are set to enter the lineup Monday.
