Phillip Danault News
Los Angeles Kings center Phillip Danault scored in a fifth consecutive game on Thursday, opening the scoring on the power play in a 4-1 victory against Chicago. This is the longest goal streak by a Kings player since Marian Gaborik scored in five straight games in 2014-15. Danault is also currently on a seven-game point streak and has been kept off the scoresheet just once in his last 11 appearances. The 29-year-old has had a very strong year in L.A. and boasts 26 goals and 50 points in 77 games with 73 hits and a plus-14 rating.
Los Angeles Kings center Phillip Danault scored a goal and added two assists on Saturday versus the Philadelphia Flyers. Danault centered the top line of the night from a fantasy perspective. He scored midway through the third period after a nice setup from Trevor Moore. Philadelphia could not contain this line all night as even Danault had four or five prime scoring chances. He set up both first period goals by Los Angeles (Arvidsson and Moore). Danault upped his point total to 17 in 31 contests and remains a secondary fantasy threat in deeper leagues.
Los Angeles Kings center Phillip Danault has been ruled out of Sunday's clash with Washington after he was added to the COVID-19 list. The Kings now have three players unavailable because of COVID-19 protocols, with Danault joining Drew Doughty and Calvin Petersen. Danault has notched 14 points in 29 games as L.A.'s second-line center this season. His absence could give Blake Lizotte a chance to log top-six minutes. The 24-year-old was on the COVID-19 list himself recently, but he's returned to action with points in back-to-back games.
Los Angeles Kings center Phillip Danault had quite a night against the Minnesota Wild. He played more than four minutes on the power play and piled up seven shots on goal. If that was not enough, he opened the scoring for Los Angeles just 1:18 after Minnesota took a 1-0 lead. Drew Doughty was the one who set Danault up for his fourth goal of the season. The Los Angeles center has four goals and 13 points in 26 games. He is a top-six defensive center who scores timely but not often. That frustrates fantasy owners to no end but tonight he delivered.
