New York Rangers defenseman K'Andre Miller produced his first career goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres. Brendan Lemieux and Colin Blackwell set him up for the special occasion in the final minute of the opening frame. Chris Kreider also scored for the Rangers, who suffered a fourth consecutive loss. Miller is an intriguing prospect, as he used to be a forward and thus has big upside offensively as a blueliner. It was an all-around good night by Miller on Tuesday, with him adding three shots and one block in 17:41 on the ice. He also had two penalty minutes and finished with a team-best plus-two rating.

New York Rangers defenseman K'Andre Miller has made the team's Opening Night roster. The 22nd overall pick from 2018 will play alongside Jacob Trouba on the team's top pair. Miller really impressed throughout training camp and will now get his first crack at the NHL. It is unlikely that he will hold much value in standard leagues this year, as power-play time may be tough to come by. Nevertheless, Miller needs to be owned in any dynasty formats because of his sky-high upside.
