Laurent Brossoit, Maple Leafs Have "Mutual Interest"

Winnipeg Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit could move across Canada this offseason as a free agent. According to James Mirtle of The Athletic, there is "mutual interest" between Brossoit and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Toronto had a turbulent season between the sticks and is expected to part ways with Ilya Samsonov, who is also heading toward free agency. Brossoit, who is coming off a one-year, $1.75 million deal, has performed well as Connor Hellebuyck's backup in Winnipeg. He posted a 15-5-2 record in 2023-24 with three shutouts and allowed 2.00 goals with a .927 save percentage. The 31-year-old carries a 64-46-13 career record.

Laurent Brossoit Shuts Out Stars With 24 Saves

Winnipeg Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit recorded an impressive 24-save shutout against the Western Conference-leading Dallas Stars on Thursday, backstopping his squad to a 3-0 road win. Brossoit picked up his 21st start of the season as Winnipeg gave Connor Hellebuyck a well-deserved rest. The 31-year-old has filled in for Winnipeg's No. 1 admirably all season, posting a 14-5-2 record with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage. Brossoit has had three shutouts in total for the campaign, which have all come in his last five starts.

Laurent Brossoit Will Start Friday

Winnipeg Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit will start Friday's game against the Anaheim Ducks. Brossoit has been excellent this season, posting a .924 SV%, 2.11 GAA, and 9.6 GSAA while going 11-4-2 over 17 games. His solid play has lessened the burden placed on Connor Hellebuyck, and Brossoit getting the start on Friday is a good example of that. Anaheim has struggled this year and the Jets are one of the best defensive teams in the NHL, making Brossoit a must-stream on Friday if he is available.

Laurent Brossoit Takes On Nashville Sunday

Winnipeg Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit will make his fifth start of the season on Sunday in a road game against Nashville. The 30-year-old enters the action with a 2-1-1, having already beaten the Predators once this season. Brossoit saved 20 of 23 shots in the matchup as Winnipeg beat Nashville 6-3 on Nov. 10. His goals-against average for the season stands at 2.95, and Brossoit has registered a .875 save percentage. The 30-year-old hasn't been in top form in 2023-24, but Brossoit has benefited from Winnipeg's hot offense. The team has scored 3.63 goals per game and heads into Sunday's encounter with a run of eight wins in nine games.

Laurent Brossoit Exits With Injury In Game 3

Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Laurent Brossoit was forced to exit Monday's contest against the Oilers after suffering a lower-body injury in Game 3 of the Western Conference second-round series. Brossoit sustained the injury while attempting to make a save in the first period of the game, and the 30-year-old was replaced by backup goaltender Adin Hill. Brossoit could be sidelined for a considerable amount of time based on the fact that he was unable to put any weight on his left leg and had to be helped off the ice, meaning that Hill and Jonathan Quick would be the next two goalie options for the Golden Knights for the remainder of the playoff series and potentially beyond.

Laurent Brossoit Between The Pipes For Game 3 Versus Oilers

Vegas Golden Knights goalie Laurent Brossoit is the confirmed starter against Edmonton on Monday. In Game 2, Brossoit let in five goals on 32 shots, resulting in a .844 save percentage, and was subsequently replaced. This halted his five-game playoff winning streak as Edmonton dominated the Golden Knights 5-1 in the contest. However, despite his unimpressive stats of a 3.13 goals-against-average and a .896 save percentage, the 30-year-old goaltender has managed to secure wins in the playoffs.

Laurent Brossoit Starts Game 1 For Vegas

Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Laurent Brossoit will be in the crease for Tuesday's Game 1 against Winnipeg. The Vegas crease has had a revolving door this season, but Brossoit did most of the heavy lifting at the end of the regular season and will now also start the playoff campaign between the sticks. Brossoit spent most of the regular season with the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights and featured only 11 times in the big league. He made 10 starts, going 7-0-3, and registering a 2.17 goals-against average with a .927. Brossoit's work has been very impressive, and he's yet to drop a start in five appearances this month, saving 139 of 147 shots for a superb .946 save percentage. The 30-year-old, who has only 27 minutes of Stanley Cup Playoffs experience, has never won six starts in a row, so Tuesday could be a special night for him.

Laurent Brossoit In Jets Net Monday Night

Winnipeg Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit will make his 10th start of the campaign in Monday's matchup against Ottawa. The Jets are on an awful run right now with six consecutive defeats and starting netminder Connor Hellebuyck has taken five of the losses, so Winnipeg is desperate to turn the tide with Brossoit in goal. The 28-year-old had a nice start to the season, but he hasn't featured much during the latter half of the season, and his record has dropped to 6-4-0. Brossoit owns a 2.39 goals-against average with a .922 save percentage and one shutout. He's facing a team that's gone 5-1-1 in the past seven games, so it's a tricky matchup for Brossoit and the Jets.

Laurent Brossoit Makes First Start Of The Month

Winnipeg Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit will take on the Senators on Wednesday in what will be his first appearances of the month. His involvement ends Connor Hellebuyck's run of seven consecutive starts. Brossoit had a very strong start to the season, but he's lost his last two starts, putting his record at 5-3-0. The 27-year-old has registered a 2.63 goals-against average with a .914 save percentage and one shutout. Winnipeg lost to Ottawa on Monday 4-2, but they have five wins in seven head-to-head meetings overall for the season, which bodes well for Brossoit on Wednesday night.
