Mattias Janmark News
Edmonton Oilers forward Mattias Janmark (shoulder) will make his first appearance since Oct. 26 in Wednesday's clash against Carolina. He's been out for 10 games with a shoulder injury but has been activated from Injured Reserve and is expected to join the third line. Janmark will be hoping to open his account for the season after going scoreless in seven outings prior to his injury. The 30-year-old will be joined by Ryan McLeod and Derek Ryan on the third line.
Edmonton Oilers center Mattias Janmark (shoulder) is considered day-to-day. He missed his first game of the season Sunday versus Calgary and didn't participate in Tuesday's practice. Janmark will need to recover by Thursday to avoid sitting out another game. The Swedish forward gave Edmonton some decent production last term with 10 goals and 25 points across 66 games, but he has struggled to make a mark in 2023-24, going scoreless in seven outings. Janmark now also has fresh competition for a place in the lineup, with Edmonton signing Sam Gagner on Tuesday.
Edmonton Oilers winger Mattias Janmark (undisclosed) is considered questionable for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Kings. The 30-year-old didn't skate Wednesday morning for maintenance reasons and the signs aren't great regarding his availability for Wednesday's contest. Some reports are suggesting that Janmark might even be done for the whole series after suffering an undisclosed injury in Game 1. The Swedish forward was a busy man in Monday's game, posting an assist, along with two shots on goal, two blocks and two hits. He has been skating on the third line. Devin Shore is projected to hop into the lineup if Janmark can't play Wednesday.
Vegas Golden Knights forward Mattias Janmark is set to roll with the first line Sunday against San Jose. He joined Jack Eichel and Evgenii Dadonov on the line at Saturday's practice. The Swedish forward has gained some offensive rhythm lately with five points in six games, boosting his overall tally for the season to 25 points. Janmark has mostly featured in the bottom six, so he's had a pretty decent year in limiting playing times. Health issues have also kept Janmark back and he will skate in only his 64th game of the season on Sunday. He should be a pretty attractive option for DFS managers against a team that gives up 3.13 goals per game.
