Seattle Mariners infielder Donovan Walton has been recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday. He is slashing .206/.254/.365 with a pair of home runs over 63 at-bats this season. Obviously, Walton is not much of a fantasy option, but will be nice depth for Seattle. Right-hander Yohan Ramirez has been optioned to the minors in a corresponding move. Neither of these players bring enough to the table to warrant adding in even deep leagues.
Seattle Mariners outfielder Taylor Trammell has been optioned to the minors following a stint with the MLB club. He struggled heavily during his time in Seattle, so the Mariners want Trammell to work on his game in the minors. Trammel has a bright future in the league, but needs to work out a few holes in his game. Walton isn't much of an upgrade, he's slashing .206/.254/.365 at the MLB level this season. Both players don't appear to be carrying much fantasy value right now. Hopefully, Trammell will be back in Seattle at some point this season.

The moves make room on the active roster for Dylan Moore, who returns off the injured list from a calf strain, and reliever Yohan Ramirez. Though Thomas has only been in the majors for several days, Walton has participated in 20 games for the Mariners, producing a .608 OPS with two homers and one steal. Neither one needs to be held on fantasy rosters.
