Yohan Ramirez Stats

Seattle Mariners infielder Donovan Walton has been recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday. He is slashing .206/.254/.365 with a pair of home runs over 63 at-bats this season. Obviously, Walton is not much of a fantasy option, but will be nice depth for Seattle. Right-hander Yohan Ramirez has been optioned to the minors in a corresponding move. Neither of these players bring enough to the table to warrant adding in even deep leagues.

Seattle Mariners catcher Luis Torrens was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma Monday. Relief pitcher Yohan Ramirez was sent down to make room for Torrens. Torrens struggled to a .519 OPS in 90 at-bats after making the major-league roster out of spring training, but he had more success for the Tacoma Rainiers, slashing .219/.318/.521 with six homers and 19 RBI in 19 games. It remains to be seen how much playing time Torrens will get, but it won't be enough to make him worthy of an add in fantasy leagues.

Seattle Mariners relief pitchers Aaron Fletcher, Wyatt Mills, and Yohan Ramirez were recalled from Triple-A Tacoma Friday, as four members of the major league bullpen were placed on the injured list without a designation, which usually means the placement is COVID-related. The Mariners have been leaning heavily on the bullpen, so opposing lineups may get a bit of a fantasy boost, but these relievers are well off the radar.
