He made 10 MLB outings between the two clubs and posted a 4.50 ERA and a 16.4% K-BB% across 16 innings of work. The right-hander spent much of his season at Triple-A Norfolk in the Orioles' organization where he worked to a quality 3.05 ERA across 27 outings while he also posted a 3.86 ERA across 10 appearances with Triple-A Tacoma in the Mariners' organization. Eduard Bazardo Being Shut Down Due To Lat Injury

Boston Red Sox pitching prospect Eduard Bazardo (lat) is "going to be shut down for a while" according to Red Sox manager Alex Cora. Bazardo was diagnosed with a right lat strain. He suffered the injury during his start at Triple-A on Tuesday. The Red Sox haven't revealed much about the estimated timeline for Bazardo's absence, but it sounds like he could miss some significant time. The 25-year-old Bazardo is currently ranked as the team's 27th overall prospect on MLB.com's Prospect Rankings. He made his MLB debut this year, pitching in relief. He made two appearances for the Red Sox, pitching three innings and allowing one hit, two walks and no runs while striking out three.
