Chicago White Sox infield prospect Sam Antonacci has yet to make his MLB debut. However, the team is expected to promote him from Triple-A for the start of their three-game set on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Antonacci has gotten off to a hot start this season in the minors, hitting .317/.509/.488 with two home runs, six RBI, six runs scored, and four stolen bases across 58 plate appearances. Across 519 minor league plate appearances in 2025, Antonacci got on base at a .433 clip and stole 48 bags. He also hit just five home runs, so fantasy managers should not expect Antonacci to provide much in the power categories. Still, Antonacci should be able to carve out a regular role with the White Sox with even modest production at the plate and could be a valuable source of speed for fantasy managers to target on the waiver wire.

Toronto Blue Jays catcher Tyler Heineman (back) is currently battling back spasms, per Keegan Matheson of MLB.com. While Toronto has not placed Heineman on the Injured List, the team's matchup on Sunday against the Minnesota Twins marks his third consecutive game out of the Blue Jays' starting lineup. Heineman's availability is made more important by the absence of Blue Jays starting catcher Alejandro Kirk (thumb), who is currently on the injured list due to a fractured left thumb. With both Kirk and Heineman sidelined, rookie catcher Brandon Valenzuela has been getting the nod behind the plate for Toronto. Heineman was effective in a backup role behind Kirk in 2025, hitting .289/.361/.416 with three home runs, 20 RBI, 25 runs scored, and two stolen bases. Heineman could have some deep-league fantasy value as an injury replacement off the waiver wire, provided he can avoid an injured list stint of his own.

O'Neill has a .705 OPS and 118 wRC+ against righties this year.

Toronto Blue Jays designated hitter George Springer (toe) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. In a corresponding move, Eloy Jimenez was selected to the major league roster. Springer fractured his left great toe while fouling a ball off his foot on Saturday. His absence leaves a major void, as he had led off all 14 Jays games prior to his injury. With that said, he has endured a slow start at the plate, slashing .185/.290/.370 with two home runs, a career-high 12.9% walk rate, a 22.6% strikeout rate, and 95 wRC+. It's been a small sample size, though, and there's still plenty of optimism that Springer can get back on track after posting 166 wRC+ last year. With that being said, his potential bounce-back will have to wait at least 10 days, as Springer will be on the injured list through April 21 at the earliest. Colorado Rockies outfielder Mickey Moniak had a fun homecoming in the third game of the series in San Diego on Saturday against the Padres in a 9-4 loss at Petco Park. Moniak, who went to high school in the San Diego area, went 4-for-4 at the plate with two home runs, four RBI, and a strikeout to raise his season average to .300 and his OPS to 1.113. The 27-year-old former first overall pick in 2016 by the Philadelphia Phillies has found a home in Colorado, at least against right-handed pitching. Moniak broke out in 2025 in his first year with the team, slashing .270/.306/.518 with an .824 OPS, 24 home runs, 68 RBI, 62 runs scored, and nine stolen bases in 461 plate appearances over 135 games. His two homers on Saturday night brought him to five on the year while also adding nine RBI. Although he has limitations against lefties (.491 career OPS), he has become a post-hype prospect, especially in the hitter-friendly environment at Coors Field. Moniak is only rostered in 15% of Yahoo leagues, but he should attract more interest to close out the week after his two-homer game on Saturday.

Jeremy Pena Leaves Early on Saturday With Knee Tightness

The Houston Astros announced that shortstop Jeremy Pena (knee) was taken out of Saturday's game against the Seattle Mariners early with right posterior knee tightness. Pena went 1-for-3 in the contest with a single and was eventually replaced by pinch-runner Nick Allen in the fourth inning. The 28-year-old Dominican shortstop also dealt with a fractured finger in spring training and was eased back in for the start of the 2026 regular season before hurting his knee on Saturday night. The extent of the injury is uncertain at this time, but more likely than not, Pena won't be in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale on Sunday. He came into Saturday's game with 10 hits in 40 at-bats (.250 average) with no homers, no RBI, five runs, and a stolen base. For now, we'll consider Pena day-to-day. But if he does miss extended time, it will be good news for Isaac Paredes, who would see regular starts at third base with Carlos Correa likely moving to shortstop. Pena, who is very capable of a 20-20 season if he stays healthy, should be held onto in all fantasy leagues, even if he goes on the injured list.
