Jacob Misiorowski Is One To Watch

Milwaukee Brewers right-handed pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski has a 50 percent chance to make the Opening Day roster out of spring training, according to MLB's Jim Callis. "I think [his stuff] is as good as anyone in the Minor Leagues," Callis said. "He hasn't harnessed it." Misiorowski, who is ranked as MLB Pipeline's No. 100 overall prospect, is one of the best power arms in the minors after averaging 11.8 strikeouts per nine innings over 33 outings (19 starts) between Double-A and Triple-A in 2024. He stands at an imposing 6-foot-7 and features a triple-digit fastball. Although Misiorowski also walked 5.5 hitters per nine innings, he limited batters to a .167 average, displaying just how good his stuff actually is. The 22-year-old could probably use more seasoning in the minors, and he's going to need to throw more strikes to pass as a starter at the next level.

Jacob Misiorowski Sharp Through First Relief Appearances At Triple-A

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski has looked quite sharp operating as a reliever at Triple-A in his past two outings. The top prospect in Milwaukee moved up to Triple-A earlier this month and made two short starts before shifting to a bullpen role. As a reliever, Misiorowski has tossed three 2/3 perfect innings with five punchouts. As a starter, he served up two earned runs across three frames of work. While the sample size is very small, the right-hander may have found a new role out of the pen. All fantasy managers should continue to monitor how the former second-round selection is utilized through the end of the season as he served exclusively as a starter over the past two summers. Misiorowski could push for a late-season major league debut, given his current production at Triple-A as well.

Jacob Misiorowski Sharp In Second Triple-A Outing

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski was sharp in his second outing at Triple-A on Wednesday. The right-hander logged two shutout innings. He allowed just one hit while striking out three. This was a nice bounce-back after he allowed two runs and three walks in his first inning on August 3. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to the right-hander, as the Brewers are clearly limiting his workload at Triple-A. Earlier this season at Double-A, the Crowder College product held a 3.50 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and a 50:105 BB:K ratio. If the 22-year-old continues to log successful short outings at Triple-A Nashville he could emerge as a must-stash candidate in all leagues later this month.

Jacob Misiorowski Promoted To Triple-A

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski is being promoted to Triple-A, according to Baseball America. The top prospect in Milwaukee posted a strong 3.50 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and a 50:105 BB:K ratio across 79 innings at Double-A this season. The right-hander got a brief taste of Double-A ball to close out last summer after spending the majority of the time with High-A Wisconsin. The number 32 overall prospect and fifth-best right-handed pitching prospect on MLB.com has flashed elite potential all season. He has tallied double-digit punchouts on two occasions and struck out at least seven in seven starts. He has also logged eight starts where he did not allow a run. The 22-year-old is on the verge of making his major league debut, and it may only take a handful of starts at Triple-A for him to receive the call to the big leagues.

Jacob Misiorowski Dealing Lately At Double-A Biloxi

Milwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski has two straight July starts of six-plus innings with 10 strikeouts in each outing. The right-hander allowed just one combined run on four total hits in those two starts. The 22-year-old is finding his groove at Double-A. One of the top pitching prospects in the minor leagues, Misiorowski now sports a 3.10 ERA this season with a 1.22 WHIP. His strikeout rate is excellent with 98 punchouts in 72 2/3 innings. He has all the tools to be a future top-of-the-rotation arm and an excellent fantasy contributor.

Jacob Misiorowski Strikes Out 10 Across Six Frames On Friday

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski tossed a second consecutive quality start on Friday. He logged six shutout frames with ten strikeouts. He allowed just two hits and two free passes. This was also his second consecutive game tallying double-digit punchouts. While the 22-year-old has had the occasional blow-up start at Double-A this season, he has showcased his elite potential more times than not. Through 72 innings, the Crowder College product holds a solid 3.10 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and a 41:98 BB:K ratio this season. In his past five outings, he holds a stellar 1.71 ERA and 0.76 WHIP. The right-hander will likely not make his major league debut until 2025 but remains one of the best pitching prospects in the sport and should remain rostered in all keeper and dynasty formats.

Jacob Misiorowski Dominant In Latest Start

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher prospect Jacob Misiorowski completed his longest start of the season for Double-A Biloxi on Saturday, lasting 6 1/3 innings while also striking out a season-high 10 batters. The righty allowed just one earned run on two hits and two walks in the outing, which was a nice rebound after his prior outing in which he allowed four earned runs on five hits and a walk, with three of the hits being home runs. The 22-year-old is the Brewers' top pitching prospect and could still make his MLB debut later this season, although he's yet to make a start at Triple-A. Outside of dynasty leagues, he doesn't warrant a stash at the moment.

Jacob Misiorowski Dominant For Second Straight Start At Double-A Biloxi

Milwaukee Brewers top pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski fired 5 2/3 scoreless innings on Tuesday for Double-A Biloxi, giving up just three hits and two walks with eight strikeouts. The 22-year-old made it back-to-back dominant starts for the Shuckers, dropping his season ERA to 3.10 with a 1.29 WHIP. He has 73 strikeouts in 58 innings pitched, which is what fantasy managers like to see out of their starting pitchers. The strikeout upside and overall polish make Misiorowski one of the top pitching prospects in the minors. If he continues his good run of outings, he could be looking at a promotion to Triple-A shortly. Next season is the most likely timetable for an MLB debut for Misiorowski, but he is a name to monitor in redraft leagues if he accelerates that timeline.

Jacob Misiorowski Turns In Solid Outing At Double-A Biloxi

Milwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski had one of his best outings of the season on Wednesday, going six innings without allowing a run and giving up just one hit with five strikeouts and no walks. It was the longest outing of the season for the Brewers top overall prospect. The 6-foot-7 right-hander has an electric fastball-slider combination making him one of the most intriguing starting pitchers in the minors. The 22-year-old is 1-2 this season with a 3.44 ERA and 1.34 WHIP. He has racked up 65 strikeouts in 52 1/3 innings. The latest start is promising for Misiorowski as he continues to ramp up his workload. Looking at a potential promotion to Triple-A by the end of this year with 2025 as a likely ETA in Milwaukee, Misiorowski has the stuff and makeup to be a future ace.

Jacob Misiorowski Tagged With Six Earned Runs In Loss

Milwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski allowed six earned runs for Double-A Biloxi on Wednesday. The Brewers' top prospect gave up six hits and two walks while striking out just one. Three of the hits he allowed were home runs, which has not been an issue for him this season as he had allowed just one home run in 11 prior starts. Although he only walked two in this one, command has been an issue all season, having posted an unsightly 16.1% BB% thus far. While the 3.88 ERA on the year isn't terrible, the 1.49 WHIP is concerning. With a 70-grade fastball and slider, the former second-round draft pick should probably get a taste of Triple-A at some point this season despite the control issues.
