Luis Lara Surging Up Stash Rankings Amid Power Breakout at Triple-A

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara has yet to slow down at Triple-A Nashville and enters Week 9 as one of the top prospects to stash in all of fantasy baseball. In 2025, Lara was better known as a contact hitter, going deep just twice over a 136-game stint at the Double-A level. However, since moving up to Nashville, the young outsider has not only enjoyed more steady success but is beginning to showcase high-end power. Through his first 49 contests at the top club in the minor leagues, the 21-year-old has already gone deep seven times, while carrying a .333/.445/.494 line with a .939 OPS. During this stint, Lara has swiped 18 bags and has shown a strong eye at the dish, posting a 28:35 K:BB. Even though there is no clear opening to everyday at-bats on the MLB roster, his current trajectory could set him up for a first-half debut.

Luis Lara Entering Elite Stash Territory Amid Torrid Stretch at Triple-A

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara has continued to swing a hot bat at Triple-A Nashville and is emerging as a top hitting prospect to stash. Over his last 17 games at Triple-A (since May 1), Lara has posted an impressive .385/.494/.492 line with a .986 OPS. During this stretch, the young outfielder has launched two home runs, hit two doubles, and swiped five bases. Overall, though his first 46 games with the top club in the Milwaukee pipeline, Lara has carried a .339/.446/.509 line with a .955 OPS. His power is worth nothing as his seven long balls have already surpassed his 2025 total of two home runs. Seeing him not only produce at a higher level but also showcase his elite raw power has put him among the top prospects to stash ahead of Week 9.

Luis Lara's Arrow Pointing Up, Emerging as a Top Hitter to Stash

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara stayed hot on Tuesday, going 2-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base for Triple-A Nashville. He's now produced five multi-hit efforts in his last eight games, going 13-for-29 (.448) during that time, with more walks (10) than strikeouts (six) and four steals to boot. It has raised the switch-hitter's season slash line to .337/.449/.503 with seven home runs, 17 steals, and a 31:25 BB:K through 44 games. The power output is a welcome addition to his fantasy profile after he produced only two home runs in 136 games at Double-A in 2025, and along with strong contact ability (4.7 percent swinging-strike rate) and speed (40-plus steals in '23 and '24), the diminutive Venezuelan looks primed for an MLB debut in the coming weeks. With multi-category potential, the 21-year-old has quickly become a top hitter to stash in most fantasy leagues.

Luis Lara Knocking on MLB Door Ahead of Week 8

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara has enjoyed a dominant start to the Triple-A campaign and is quickly knocking on the MLB door. Lara is considered the team's No. 11-ranked prospect on MLB.com and was not given much consideration to begin the regular season with the MLB roster during spring training. In 2025, he spent his entire campaign with Double-A, but his production soared during his first stint with Triple-A Nashville. With the Sounds, the outfielder has posted a dominant .335/.449/.510 slash line with a .919 OPS. During this 42-game stint, Lara has launched seven home runs and swiped 16 bags. His seven long balls have already set a career high. With his raw power slowly growing, Lara could be in the mix to debut in the majors in the coming weeks and holds solid stash upside in all 12+ team formats.

Luis Lara Emerges as Appealing Stash Candidate with Multi-Category Potential

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara continues to make his case for a promotion to the big leagues, going 3-for-5 with a walk and two steals in his latest game for Triple-A Nashville. The effort pushed his batting average to .329 on the season, with a strong 13.7 percent walk rate contributing to a robust .429 on-base percentage. Impressively, the Brewers' 11th-ranked prospect's walk rate is higher than his strikeout rate (11.9 percent), he's already swiped 15 bags after a 44-steal season in 2025, has scored 35 runs in 38 games, and has seven home runs after hitting two in 136 games at Double-A last year. There is plenty to like in the 21-year-old's profile for fantasy, and an MLB debut could happen in the coming weeks, so fantasy managers in deeper leagues should consider picking up the switch-hitter ahead of a call-up.

Luis Lara Emerging as Name to Monitor in Milwaukee Pipeline

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara is gradually emerging as a potential deep-league stash candidate. Lara is currently ranked as the team's No. 11 prospect on MLB.com but has flashed elite upside in the early going of the Triple-A campaign. Over his first 35 games against Triple-A pitching, Lara has held his own, posting a strong .315/.414/.523 line with four doubles, seven home runs, and 12 stolen bases. During this stretch, the 21-year-old has held a 19:20 K:BB. Last summer, Lara spent his entire campaign at the Double-A level but did not enjoy as much success, hitting only two home runs with a modest .712 OPS. Seeing the young outfielder not only find more consistent success but tap into his raw power against tougher pitching is an excellent sign. Even though Jackson Chourio has returned from injury, Lara remains on track to compete for a mid-season promotion.

Luis Lara Emerging as Top Name to Monitor in Brewers System

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara is putting together a dominant start with Triple-A Nashville and is emerging as a top name to monitor in their system. Lara spent the entire 2025 campaign with Double-A and was given the green light to begin the 2026 season with the top club in their system. Through his first 26 games with Triple-A, Lara has posted an elite .347/.439/.561 line with a 1.000 OPS. Lara has gone deep five times, added four doubles, and swiped 12 bags. Additionally, the 21-year-old has shown a strong eye at the dish, posting a 15:15 K:BB. Last summer, the No. 11-ranked prospect in their system, per MLB.com, posted a lower .257/.369/.343 line over 136 games with Double-A. Given that the Brewers have lacked much consistency in left field with Jackson Chourio on the shelf, they could look to give Lara a look in the big leagues much sooner than expected.

Luis Lara Stays Hot At The Plate

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara continued his hot streak on Thursday, going 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, and a walk. Since July 4, the eighth-ranked prospect in the Milwaukee system has held a strong .321/.371/.536 slash line with two home runs, four doubles, seven RBI, and four swiped bags. After posting a season-low .202 average and .264 on-base percentage in June, the 19-year-old has clearly begun to turn things around and get himself back on track. Lara got a small taste of High-A ball last summer and held a .290/.351/.377 line. However, this summer in a much larger 75-game stint, he holds a .248/.321/.330 line. Even though he has struggled at the plate at times, he is still showcasing elite speed with 26 total stolen bases. The switch-hitting outfielder should make a case to see time in Double-A next season.
