Luis Lara Fantasy Stats

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Luis Lara came through with the biggest hit of his team's 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series on Sunday, notching a go-ahead RBI single off Dodgers left-hander Tarik Skubal in the fifth inning. It was Lara's lone hit in his three at-bats, but it obviously came at a key time for Milwaukee. The 21-year-old Lara earned a promotion to the big leagues in early July and hit .246/.311/.325 with one home run, 26 RBI, 25 runs scored, and three stolen bases across 212 plate appearances to finish the year. While Lara's numbers don't leap off the page, he hit .321 with 24 stolen bases across 346 plate appearances at Triple-A before getting called up. The Brewers have deployed Lara as a short-side platoon starter in right field against left-handed starting pitchers so far this postseason. If he can gain some confidence from his key hit off Skubal on Sunday, Lara could emerge as a bottom-of-the-order contributor in the NLCS.

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Luis Lara has reached base in each of his first three major-league games since being recalled on July 7, adding his first extra-base hit on Saturday, July 11, against Pittsburgh. The 21-year-old earned the promotion after batting .321/.432/.470 with nine home runs, 42 RBI, 67 runs, and 24 stolen bases in 78 games at Triple-A Nashville. He walked 54 times while striking out only 48, an encouraging sign that the average and on-base skills can travel. The crowded outfield is the catch. Jackson Chourio, Sal Frelick, and Garrett Mitchell are all competing for starts, but Lara has already appeared at all three outfield spots, and Blake Perkins was optioned when he arrived. RotoBaller's latest waiver rankings put Lara at 10% rostered and recommend him in 10-team leagues. The speed and average should arrive first, while the nine Triple-A homers leave room for more than a two-category profile.

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Luis Lara is ready to join the Brewers for his MLB debut, and he's a great addition in fantasy leagues if you're looking for average and speed. MLB Pipeline ranked Lara as the No. 4 prospect in the Brewers' strong farm system and the No. 67 prospect in all of baseball, and the 21-year-old switch-hitter signed a seven-year extension with the Brew Crew last month, showing how confident the team is in his upside. At Triple-A this season, Lara hit .321 with nine homers and 24 stolen bases in 78 games. It's already the most home runs he has had in any of his seasons as a pro, but his speed has shown elite potential over the last few years, with 45 stolen bases in 2024 and 44 stolen bases last year. Lara will bring an exciting infusion of energy to Milwaukee's lineup and is a great addition in all formats since his speed and contact should play right away, even if his power takes some time to continue to develop.

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara snapped his lengthy 42-game power skid at Triple-A on July 2. This was Lara's eighth round-tripper of the young season. Despite having a lengthy power skid at the dish, the young outfielder was enjoying a surge at the dish to begin the season and showing the highest power upside of his career. Over the first 33 games of the Triple-A regular season, the 21-year-old (the team's No. 5-ranked prospect) went deep seven times while carrying a sharp .341/.438/.561 line with a high .998 OPS. Overall, Lara has carried a .325/.435/.468 line over his first 76 games of Triple-A. Given that the Brewers recently signed him to a massive seven-year extension, fantasy managers should view him as a top stash candidate among outfielders as he is on the verge of earning the call. He should be on the verge of a call-up shortly after the All-Star break.

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara reached base three times on Sunday, doubling once and drawing two walks, pushing his season-long on-base percentage to .438, which is good for second-best in all of Triple-A among qualified players. The Brewers' fourth-ranked prospect is now hitting .326 with a .457 slugging percentage, and has also stolen 20 bases so far this season in 73 games. Maybe the most impressive thing is that the switch-hitter is boasting a 15.3 percent walk rate compared to a minuscule 13.7 percent strikeout rate, thanks to a 91st percentile whiff rate. The 21-year-old looks ready to take the next step and should get his opportunity for a major league debut in the second half. With excellent bat-to-ball skills and plenty of speed, along with the ability to hit for extra bases, the 5-foot-7 Venezuelan should be viewed as one of the top bats to stash for fantasy in most leagues.

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara continues to shine for Triple-A Nashville, recording an impressive four-hit game on Tuesday, and after going 1-for-2 with a pair of walks on Wednesday, the Brewers' fifth-ranked prospect is now slashing a robust .328/.439/.462 with seven home runs and 20 steals. On the downside, the 5-foot-7 Venezuelan's eye-opening power surge to begin the season has fizzled out, having not hit a home run since May 6, which is a 36-game stretch now without one, and he's been stuck on 20 steals since June 10 after he's come up empty in his last three stolen base attempts. Nevertheless, the switch-hitter is showing an advanced approach, striking out at just a 13.7 percent rate (88th percentile) and walking at a rate higher than that of 14.7 percent (79th percentile). The team has shown confidence in the 21-year-old, recently rewarding him with a seven-year, $31 million contract, so expect to see him in the majors in the coming weeks. Don't expect much power, but with the ability to hit for average, draw walks, steal plenty of bases, and score runs, Lara makes for a solid stash in most 12-team leagues.

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara is doing everything he can at Triple-A Nashville to encourage a promotion to the major leagues. The outfielder is hitting .313 with 56 runs, seven homers, 30 RBI, and 20 stolen bases across 67 games of action. That power-speed combination should play at the big league level (.873 OPS in 246 at-bats). The Brewers have shown an ability to get the most out of all types of players in Milwaukee, and Lara profiles as another player who could thrive at American Family Field. With the Brewers beckoning, Lara is a name to target in the waiver-wire process, and he could provide immediate dividends for fantasy managers. Additionally, earlier in June, the Brewers inked the top-100 prospect ot a seven-year contract extension, signaling his long-term role on this roster. Entering Week 13, Lara profiles as a top outfield prospect to stash as he is on the trajectory to compete for an MLB debut in the coming weeks.

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara has yet to return to his early-season power production, but he remains firmly in the mix to debut in the coming weeks. Lara agreed to a seven-year extension with the Brewers earlier in June, suggesting the team views him as a major piece of the roster going forward. The outfielder began the 2026 season with Triple-A, marking his first taste of the top level in the minor leagues. Following a hot start, Lara has seen his power production gradually decline as he has carried a .286/.406/.357 line with no home runs (and only two doubles) over his last 16 games of action. Before this skid, Lara held a .506 SLG with seven home runs over his first 47 games. Power was never a strong component of his profile, but if he can return to this early-season level of play, Lara could make a strong push to join the Brewers ahead of the All-Star break. His five-category potential makes him a priority outfield prospect to stash in 12+ team leagues.

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara inked a seven-year, $31 million contract extension with the Brewers earlier this week and was added to the 40-man roster, putting him on the verge of his MLB debut. Lara has spent the entire 2026 campaign with Triple-A Nashville and has held his own during his first taste of the top level of the minor leagues. Through his first 58 games of action with the Sounds, Lara has gone deep seven times while adding eight doubles, 20 stolen bases with a .336/.447/.493 line. During this stretch, he has carried a .940 OPS. His recent power surge is worth noting, as Lara only hit two total home runs over 136 games with Double-A last summer. While there is no clear spot for him on the MLB roster at the moment, Lara appears poised to enter the Milwaukee starting nine in the coming weeks, making him a solid stash target with high-end five-category potential.

Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Luis Lara played in his first game on Tuesday since signing a seven-year, $31 million contract extension and went 1-for-3 with two walks, a run scored, and a stolen base. The Brewers' fifth-ranked prospect has been impressive at Triple-A Nashville this season, slashing .338/.450/.498 and belting seven home runs (last season he hit just two in 136 games) while swiping 19 bags. While the development in the power department has been a welcome sight, the 5-foot-7 Venezuelan is in the midst of a power outage, having not hit a home run in 23 consecutive games now, with his last coming on May 6. Regardless, the team clearly sees him as part of their future after rewarding him with a new contract, and with the way he's hitting, a call-up to the majors could happen by the end of the month. With excellent contact ability and speed, along with some newfound power, the switch-hitter remains a high-end hitter to stash for his multi-category potential.
