Mike Boeve Will Miss Start Of Double-A Regular Season

Milwaukee Brewers infield prospect Mike Boeve (shoulder) will miss the start of the Double-A regular season after undergoing offseason right labrum surgery. According to Sam Dykstra of MLB Pipeline, the 22-year-old will continue to build back up in extended spring training. Last season, Boeve opened the campaign at the High-A level and tallied an impressive 21 hits across 13 contests before getting the call to Double-A Biloxi. With Double-A Biloxi, Boeve held a strong .306/.374/.447 slash line across his first 66 contests. During this stretch, the Nebraska-Omaha product hit 12 doubles, three triples, and six long balls while holding a 27:49 BB:K. Boeve is considered the No. 5 prospect in the system on MLB.com. He should push an early-season promotion to Triple-A when he is cleared for action.

Mike Boeve Hits Second Home Run Of The Week

Milwaukee Brewers third base prospect Mike Boeve went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI on Thursday evening. Boeve has now launched two home runs and tallied seven total hits in his past six games. The former second-round pick began the season with High-A and needed only 13 games to prove he was ready for Double-A, as he tallied 21 hits and a .553 AVG during this stint. In his first 51 games at Double-A Biloxi, the 22-year-old has looked quite comfortable with a .291/.354/.409 slash line, 3 home runs and 20 RBI. The young infielder has not shown any signs of slowing down and could even earn a promotion to Triple-A towards the end of the summer. Boeve remains a name to keep a close eye on in dynasty leagues as he progresses through the minor leagues.

Mike Boeve Riding High Following Promotion To Double-A

Milwaukee Brewers third base prospect Mike Boeve was recently promoted to Double-A Biloxi after having a great start to the season at High-A. Boeve posted a dominant .553/.642/.632 stat line with a 13:5 BB:K ratio across 13 games at High-A Wisconsin. Boeve has carried the momentum into his first nine games at Double-A with an excellent .306/.405/.583 line and has already tallied four doubles and three triples. The 14th-ranked prospect is beginning to make headlines and is worth monitoring in dynasty leagues as he is quickly progressing through the minor leagues. Even though MLB Pipeline projects the 21-year-old to reach the majors in 2026, with the rate he is currently going at, do not be surprised if he is knocking on the door by next summer.
