Noble Meyer Placed on Seven-Day Injured List

Miami Marlins pitching prospect Noble Meyer (undisclosed) has been placed on the High-A Beloit seven-day injured list, retroactive to June 23. The nature of the injury is not yet known, so there is no projection for when he'll return. The Marlins' fourth-ranked prospect is having a tough year for the Sky Carp, registering a 5.09 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 15.0 percent K-BB% in 11 starts, although he's been better over his last six starts, posting a 3.52 ERA (2.93 FIP), a 1.09 WHIP, and a 21.4 percent K-BB% in 23 innings pitched. MLB.com's top prospect list gives an ETA of 2026 for the 2023 first-rounder's major-league debut, however, that timeline looks optimistic, especially if this injury causes him to miss significant time. He's still only 20 years old, and the 6-foot-5 hurler has time to develop, regardless of what the injury turns out to be.

Noble Meyer Trending in the Right Direction at High-A

Miami Marlins pitching prospect Noble Meyer allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk while striking out three over four innings of work on Wednesday for High-A Beloit. The 20-year-old appears to be rounding into form over his last five starts, posting a 3.32 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and a 22.5 percent K-BB% in 19 IP, compared to a 7.13 ERA, 1.75 WHIP, and a 7.9 percent K-BB% in 17 2/3 IP over his first five starts of the year. At this rate, the Marlins' fourth-ranked prospect should get a handful of starts at Double-A by season's end. The 6-foot-5 hurler is young, but with his big frame and first-round pedigree, MLB.com's top prospects list gives the youngster a 2026 ETA. With 145 strikeouts in 121 2/3 career minor league innings (10.73 K/9, 26.9 percent K%), he has good strikeout stuff and is a pitcher worth keeping an eye on in dynasty leagues.

Noble Meyer Notches Seven Strikeouts

Miami Marlins pitching prospect Noble Meyer put together another strong outing for High-A Beloit on Wednesday. The right-hander tossed five innings of scoreless ball and allowed one hit with two walks and seven strikeouts on his way to a no-decision. His seven punchouts were a season-best for the 19-year-old, and he has now held opponents to a .164 batting average between Single-A Jupiter and Beloit. Meyer was the 10th overall pick in the 2023 MLB draft and comes in at No. 75 on MLB Pipeline. In his second professional season, Meyer has a 4.11 ERA to go along with a 1.29 WHIP and 74 strikeouts in 65 2/3 innings. He still needs to work on better command, but if everything comes together, Meyer could be a front-line starter. For now, he is a name for dynasty managers to consider.

Noble Meyer Fans Two In Futures Game

Miami Marlins starting pitcher Noble Meyer pitched in the second inning of this year's All-Star Futures Game, striking out two batters on 18 pitches. In total, he faced five hitters. He might have retired the side in order, if not for Chicago White Sox infield prospect Colson Montgomery reaching on an error. Regardless, Meyer's stuff looked fantastic. The young righty collected five whiffs, and his sinker sat around 93 mph. Miami's top prospect (per MLB.com) is expected to make his MLB debut in 2026.

Noble Meyer Continues To Show Strikeout Potential

Miami Marlins starting pitcher Noble Meyer has continued to average a strikeout per inning even after moving up to High-A. Meyer was promoted to High-A Beloit on May 27 and has struck out 12 batters through his first 12 innings with a 4.50 ERA and 0.92 WHIP. He has allowed just five free passes. Earlier in the season at Single-A, Meyer struck out 43 batters across 34 frames. He tallied at least eight punchouts in three starts including a season-high 11 on May 25. Last season, across the Rookie League and a brief stint at Single-A, he tallied 55 punchouts across 46 innings. Meyer is considered the ninth-best right-handed pitching prospect on MLB Pipeline and remains on track to meet his 2026 major league ETA.

Noble Meyer Tosses Five Shutout Innings In High-A Debut

Miami Marlins starting pitching prospect Noble Meyer dazzled in his High-A debut, where he tossed five shutout innings with six strikeouts. He allowed just two hits and no free passes. This is a great sign for the top prospect in Miami, as he looked quite comfortable seeing High-A batters for the first time. The 19-year-old opened the season with Single-A and posted a 2.65 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 23:43 BB:K ratio. Meyer only got a small taste of Single-A last season, so it is very promising to see Meyer already making the jump to High-A. Noble Meyer is considered the number 44 overall prospect on MLB Pipeline and the number eight overall right-handed pitcher. While he is still a couple of seasons away from his major league debut, the former tenth-overall pick is developing into one of the best pitching prospects in baseball and is worth stashing in all dynasty leagues.

Noble Meyer Promoted To High-A Beloit

The Miami Marlins have promoted pitching prospect Noble Meyer to High-A Beloit. The 2023 first-round draft pick posted a 2.65 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP with a 43:23 K:BB over 34 innings pitched so far this season. The 19-year-old is already ranked as the Marlins top prospect and 45th overall in all of baseball. The righty is not expected to reach the majors for a couple years, but should already be on dynasty league managers' radar.

Noble Meyer Pitching Well In Single-A

Miami Marlins pitching prospect Noble Meyer was selected with the 10th overall pick in the 2023 draft and has been off to an impressive start in his young career. Meyer, 19, is the team's No. 1 prospect and his recent success is a big reason why. Over his last four starts for Single-A Jupiter, Meyer has tossed five innings in each start and recorded 33 strikeouts, but he has allowed 10 walks in that span with only one run allowed. Meyer has had a 180 from the beginning of the season and his increase in strikeouts has played a big role in that. The right-hander can hit up to 100 MPH with his fastball, but his best pitch thus far has been his slider. Even though he is very young, Meyer has shown advanced skills for his age and could rise through the Marlins system over the next couple of seasons. For now, Meyer is a rising name in dynasty leagues.

Noble Meyer Tosses Three Shutout Innings In Single-A Debut

Miami Marlins pitching prospect Noble Meyer threw three scoreless innings, striking out four during his first outing with Single-A Jupiter. The 18-year-old was selected 10th overall by the Marlins last month and has quickly ascended their prospect ranks. Meyer already ranks as the organization's top farmhand and the No. 59 prospect in all of baseball, per MLB Pipeline. His 60-grade fastball and 60-grade slider complement each other well, and he possesses all the peripherals of a future ace. Meyer is very young and likely at least two years from breaking through to the majors. Still, his upside is apparent, and Meyer will be a coveted fantasy asset.
