Ricardo Cabrera Tallies Four Hits, Swipes Two Bags

Cincinnati Reds shortstop prospect Ricardo Cabrera posted his first four-hit game of the season on Friday and swiped his sixth and seventh bag of the season. The 19-year-old has performed very well in his first extended look at Single-A with a .286/.362/.473 line and with six long balls and 23 RBI in 48 games. The infielder logged five games at this level last summer after spending the majority of the time in the Rookie League. The number nine ranked prospect in the Cincinnati system has been especially impressive over his past 17 games, where he holds an excellent .319/.372/.551 line. He should remain closely monitored in dynasty leagues as he should be moved up to High-A in the coming months.

Ricardo Cabrera Nearing High-A Promotion

Cincinnati Reds infield prospect Ricardo Cabrera has been performing quite well in his first extended look at Single-A ball and could be approaching his promotion to High-A. In his past six games the 19-year-old is riding a .391/.462/.565 slash line with three extra-base hits and one stolen base. Overall, through 35 total games this season, he has posted a .285/.363/.454 line with three long balls and four swiped bags. The number nine ranked prospect, according to MLB Pipeline in Cincinnati, hit for a strong .300 AVG in the Rookie League and is looking just as producing in Single-A. He remains several seasons away from his major league debut but is worth a follow in dynasty leagues.
