Seth Elledge Back From Triple-A Memphis
St. Louis Cardinals recalled right-handed pitcher Seth Elledge from Triple-A Memphis. He was called up to replace right-handed pitcher Kodi Whitley, who was placed on the Cardinals injured list. Elledge carries a 7.71 ERA in 2021, pitching in just 4 2/3 innings. While in Memphis, Elledge recorded seven strikeouts with not allowing a run in 3 2/3 innings. The 25-year-old will serve as a middle relief pitcher, and he should not play much of a factor in fantasy baseball lineups.
