The 27-year-old will end the year with a team-leading 78 tackles (49 solo), one tackle for loss, two QB hits, one interception, seven passes defensed and one sack in 14 starts. Anzalone has a long history of shoulder problems and dislocated his right shoulder three times in a five-season span in college and early in his NFL career. He played just two games in 2019 before having his second shoulder surgery. Before his latest shoulder injury, Anzalone was a defensive captain and was one of the team's most durable players.
