Zay Flowers Quiet In Win Over Buccaneers

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (ankle) didn't have much to contribute after getting his ankle rolled up on and having to get it checked out on the sidelines. For a while, Flowers looked like he was in a lot of pain as he quickly hobbled to the sidelines and squirmed in pain. He did return to the game and finished with one reception for 11 yards and one carry for 19 yards. Fantasy managers will want to monitor his status with the ankle because it could have been the reason that he wasn't involved in a big passing game. The Ravens take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 8.

Justice Hill Scores In Monday Night Win

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill found the end zone in the team's 41-31 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday. The 26-year-old finished with five carries for four yards, and three receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown. His fantasy-salvaging touchdown came during a running back screen play where he followed a convoy straight into the end zone. When the game script calls for a lot of air yards, Hill's fantasy value reaches its peak. He'll look to score again in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns.

Rashod Bateman Breaks 100-Yard Mark

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman continues his great play by breaking the 100-yard mark for the first time since Week 2 of the 2022 season. The former 27th-overall pick finished Monday night's game with four receptions, 121 yards, and a touchdown on four targets. He's already topped his total yardage from last season and now hit a career-high for touchdowns in a season. Bateman flashed his speed during his touchdown play which saw Lamar Jackson drop the ball right in his hands on his way into the end zone. Bateman will look to burn some more defensive backs in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns.

Mark Andrews Hauls In Two Touchdowns

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews wants everyone to put the word out that he's back up. In their Monday night win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Andrews caught all four of his targets for 41 yards and two touchdowns. This marks two consecutive weeks as the TE3 in half-PPR formats. He's also jumped all the way up to TE9 on the season. The Ravens' offense has become more consistent each week while Lamar Jackson has utilized more of his weapons through the air. This could mean better days ahead for Andrews who will try to score again in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns.

Derrick Henry  • RB  •  Ravens

Derrick Henry Gathers 182 All-Purpose Yards

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry not only produced a big game but also kept his scoring streak alive with a late touchdown catch. In the 41-31 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Henry registered 169 yards on 15 carries with one reception for 13 yards and a touchdown on his only target. His longest run of the night was an 81-yard sprint down the sideline where he was caught just before getting into the end zone. Regardless, Henry continues to dominate while he separated himself even further as the RB1 this year. He'll go up against the Cleveland Browns in Week 8.

Lamar Jackson Tosses Five Touchdowns In Win

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has now won the QB1 versus QB2 duel two weeks in a row after leading the team to a 41-31 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In this shootout, Jackson finished with 281 yards and five touchdowns while throwing 17-for-22 and adding 52 yards on nine carries. The two-time MVP picked apart Tampa Bay's defense with a variety of short, medium, and deep passes all for touchdowns. Jackson and company will travel to Cleveland for another AFC North matchup in Week 8 looking for their sixth consecutive win.

James Conner Carries Cardinals To Week 7 Victory

Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner totaled 152 yards on 21 touches in the Week 7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The Cardinals struggled to sustain anything offensively unless Conner had the football. However, Conner failed to reach the end zone; his volume, which included 21 touches, made up for it. Conner made big play after big play and broke many tackles in Monday's win. Heading into Week 8, the Cardinals will take on the Miami Dolphins, and Conner should remain in all fantasy football starting lineups.

Kyler Murray  • QB  •  Cardinals

Kyler Murray Totals 64 Yards On The Ground In Week 7 Win

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray had a strong performance in the team's 17-15 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. Murray rushed for 64 yards, including a 44-yard go-ahead touchdown run early in the fourth quarter. Through the air, Murray added 145 yards, one touchdown, and one interception on 14 of 25 pass attempts. While those may not be the flashiest passing numbers in the world, Murray took what the defense gave him and was able to make winning plays on the ground. He remains a must-start in fantasy as the Cardinals travel to Miami in Week 8.

Cade Otton  • TE  •  Buccaneers

Cade Otton Paces All Buccaneers Pass-Catchers Monday

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton caught eight of 10 targets for 100 yards during Sunday's Week 7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He ultimately led all Buccaneers pass-catchers in each of those three categories. The 25-year-old got off to a quiet start this season but has been one of the most productive tight ends lately, catching 26 passes for 258 yards and one touchdown over his last five games. He's the overall TE5 in half-PPR leagues during that span, providing fantasy managers with tremendous value. He should continue to remain heavily involved in the Buccaneers' offense going forward after Chris Godwin (ankle) suffered a season-ending ankle dislocation on Monday night.

Baker Mayfield  • QB  •  Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield Racks Up Yardage In High-Scoring Week 7

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield completed 31 of 45 passes for 370 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions during Monday's Week 7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He also rushed for 22 yards and took three sacks. While Mayfield's turnover problems were worrisome, he bailed out his fantasy managers by racking up passing yards and adding three touchdowns. On a positive note, Mayfield has been a top-three fantasy quarterback this year, and that trend continued on Monday. However, the bad news is that he'll move forward without wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle), who dislocated his ankle near the end of the Ravens game and is likely done for the year. Mayfield should still be started in most leagues against the Atlanta Falcons next week.

Cameron Dicker  • K  •  Chargers

Cameron Dicker Scores Every Chargers Point In Week 7

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker made every Chargers point in a 15-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7. Dicker attempted five field goals, making all five of them. He didn't get a chance to kick an extra point as the Chargers were allergic to the end zone in this game. Dicker set a career long and tied a Chargers franchise record with a 59-yard field goal in the first quarter. He followed that up with field goals from 50, 28, 47, and 40 yards out. It was an excellent real life and fantasy performance for "Dicker the Kicker", especially in leagues with distance bonuses. He'll get another good matchup in Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints.

Simi Fehoko  • WR  •  Chargers

Simi Fehoko Makes Three Catches In Week 7

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Simi Fehoko made three catches in a Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He was targeted six times, making the three catches for 45 yards. Fehoko also drew a clear pass interference penalty near the end of the fourth quarter that was not called for some reason no one without a Cardinals jersey understood. Fehoko remains a special teams player on the Chargers, but he's been seeing more work on offense and has made some solid plays in the past couple of weeks. He's not a fantasy option right now, but he might develop into a fringe FLEX option in deeper leagues if the Chargers wide receiving corps suffers some injuries later in the season.

Rachaad White Bounces Back With Two Receiving Touchdowns

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White rushed for 40 yards on 10 carries during Monday's Week 7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He was much more impactful in the passing game, catching all six of his targets for an additional 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns. After losing some touches to Bucky Irving and then sitting out Week 6 due to injury, White bounced back in a huge way against the Ravens. He should remain heavily involved heading into next week's clash with the Atlanta Falcons, especially with Chris Godwin (ankle) likely sidelined for the rest of the season. White is a strong fantasy RB2 given his rushing, receiving, and touchdown productivity.

Ladd McConkey Makes Five Catches In A Week 7 Loss

Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey made five catches in a Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. McConkey ended up with seven targets and five catches, both good for second-most on the team behind tight end Will Dissly. He gained 46 yards, which was third highest. McConkey had a slow first half before turning it on a bit in the second half and ending up with a decent enough fantasy performance. With the Chargers throwing the ball more often, McConkey could have his fantasy arrow pointing up when the Bolts face the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.

Joshua Palmer  • WR  •  Chargers

Joshua Palmer Makes Four Catches In Week 7 Loss

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer made four catches in a Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Palmer was targeted five times, making the four catches for 63 yards. One of Palmer's grabs was a beautiful toe-tap catch on the sideline that ended up being his biggest gain. Palmer came into the season with a lot of hype, but this was the most targets, yards, and catches for him so far this season. He could have some better games coming up if the Chargers continue throwing the ball more often, but Palmer still hasn't shown anything to warrant making it into fantasy starting lineups.

Will Dissly  • TE  •  Chargers

Will Dissly Leads The Chargers In All Receiving Categories In Week 7

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly led the Chargers in all receiving categories in a Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Dissly was targeted 11 times, making eight catches for 81 yards. Those numbers were all good for first place in each category, as the next most targeted Charger (Ladd McConkey) saw seven balls thrown his way, making five catches. Dissly had made 13 catches all season entering this game, but he saw heavy targets as the Chargers tried to not rely on their running game for the first real time this season (it didn't work). Despite not scoring a touchdown, this might end up being Dissly's best fantasy performance of the season. Chasing points with him in Week 8 against the Saints is not likely a recommended strategy.

Kimani Vidal Gets Four Touches In Week 7

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Kimani Vidal got four touches in a Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Vidal ran the ball three times, gaining a total of 10 yards and made a catch on his only passing game target, gaining nine yards through the air. Vidal got a lot of hype after his Week 6 performance but is still clearly far behind starter J.K. Dobbins in the Chargers backfield. He's a top-tier direct backup but likely won't have much value on his own as long as Dobbins stays on the field. The Chargers face the New Orleans Saints in a Week 8 game on Sunday.

Chris Godwin  • WR  •  Buccaneers

Chris Godwin Out Indefinitely With Dislocated Ankle

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) was diagnosed with a dislocated ankle near the end of Monday's game against the Baltimore Ravens, head coach Todd Bowles told the media postgame. Godwin will be out indefinitely. He suffered the injury with one minute left in the fourth quarter as the Buccaneers trailed by 10 points. Godwin finished Week 7 with nine targets, seven catches, and 65 receiving yards. He was placed in an air cast and carted off the field. The injury was gruesome enough that ESPN declined to show a replay on its broadcast. Football fans on social media were quick to criticize head coach Todd Bowles for keeping his starters in the game with such little time left on the clock. While Bowles explained postgame that he felt the Buccaneers still had a chance to win, his decision evidently backfired as Tampa Bay lost and Godwin is now expected to be done for the season. He finishes the 2024 campaign with 50 catches, 576 receiving yards, and five touchdowns. It's possible the veteran receiver has played his final game with the Buccaneers as he prepares to hit free agency during the 2025 offseason. It's a devastating loss for Tampa Bay and fantasy football managers everywhere, as well as crushing news for Godwin amidst a promising start to the 2024 season. Moving forward, Jalen McMillan and Trey Palmer should earn more snaps alongside starting wide receiver Mike Evans.

J.K. Dobbins Puts Up 66 Yards In Week 7 Loss

Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins struggled to find room in a Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Dobbins ran the ball 14 times, gaining 40 yards with a long of 11. He was targeted three times in the passing game, making all three catches for a total of 26 yards. Dobbins remained the clear starter in this backfield, as he got 17 touches and every other Chargers running back combined for just six. As long as he stays healthy, he'll remain "the guy" for the Chargers running game, which makes him an RB1/2 depending on the matchup. Week 8 awaits with a Sunday game against the New Orleans Saints.

Justin Herbert  • QB  •  Chargers

Justin Herbert Has His First 300-Yard Game Of The Season

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert had his first 300-yard game of the season in a Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Herbert threw the ball 39 times, completing 27 passes. The attempts and completions were also season highs for Herbert, and it was also the first game where the Chargers focused far more on passing the ball than on running it. Despite the solid passing game, Herbert didn't find the end zone (partly because of an inexcusably awful fumble by Jalen Reagor), which kept him from putting up a particularly strong fantasy performance. Still, it was a mostly encouraging performance from Herbert and the Los Angeles passing game, who will take on the Saints on Sunday in Week 8.
