Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders have placed quarterback Gardner Minshew II (collarbone) on injured reserve. Given that Minshew has already been ruled out for the remainder of the 2024 season, this is merely a procedural move. He finishes his age-28 campaign having completed 203 of 306 passes for 2,013 yards, nine touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He also took 29 sacks and lost four fumbles. It's been a sloppy year under center for the Raiders, who have given snaps to Minshew, Aidan O'Connell, and Desmond Ridder. Moving forward, Vegas intends to start O'Connell, whom they activated from injured reserve on Thursday. However, he's expected to be on a short leash with Ridder waiting in the wing.

Gardner Minshew II Done For The Year
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II (collarbone) will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign. The signal-caller, who hasn't had an eventful year in Vegas, suffered a broken collarbone during Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos. While there was a chance Minshew wouldn't be back under center moving ahead even if he stayed healthy, the latest injury will officially mark the end of his season. With Aidan O'Connell (thumb) on the shelf, the Raiders may hand the keys over to Desmond Ridder, who went 5-for-10 for 64 yards in Week 12. There was also an update from NFL Media's Ian Rapoport early on Sunday that the team may be interested in Daniel Jones, at least once he clears waivers and hits the open market.

Gardner Minshew II Heads To The Locker Room
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II (shoulder) exited Sunday's meeting with the Denver Broncos. The veteran had 230 yards, one touchdown, and one pick in this one, so he's had a decent showing. However, he took a hard hit late in the contest and was assisted back to the locker room. There hasn't been an official injury designation released by the team. Yet, fantasy managers should at least consider him questionable to return, although it's unlikely he'll be back, considering the contest is nearing an end. In the meantime, Desmond Ridder is in to handle things under center.

Gardner Minshew II Could Start For Final Time In Week 12
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II could be in for his last rodeo in Week 12. His team will take on the Denver Broncos, and QB Aidan O'Connell (thumb) won't be able to play. He's still recovering from a thumb injury. Minshew will have his hands full with a Denver Broncos defense that just held Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons to six points in a Week 11 blowout game. The 28-year old Raiders signal-caller has thrown eight touchdowns, but tossed nine interceptions and lost a fumble this season. It could be an ugly game, and it's hard to trust him in 1QB leagues. He should be started in 2QB/Superflex leagues, though. He's not always been bad, just wildly inconsistent. Garbage time production counts for fantasy points, too.

Raiders Sticking With Gardner Minshew II At QB
Per head coach Antonio Pierce, the Las Vegas Raiders are sticking with quarterback Gardner Minshew II for at least one more week. Paul Gutierrez of ESPN reported the news. The 28-year-old been extremely inconsistent and turnover-prone this year as the Raiders attempt to figure out their long-term quarterback solution. Las Vegas will line up against the Denver Broncos this Sunday in a divisional clash, and it could be Minshew's last week as the starter, with Aidan O'Connell (thumb) eligible to return from Injured Reserve the following week. It will be interesting to see if O'Connell slots back in as the team's starter upon his return, but Minshew will get one more crack at the starting job against a stout Broncos defense at home in Week 12.

Gardner Minshew II Throws Two Touchdowns, One Pick In Loss
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II completed 30 of his 43 pass attempts for 282 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in his Week 11 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He also carried the ball two times for seven yards. He was once again outmatched by the opposing quarterback, and wasn't able to lift his team to a victory, in what is becoming a common theme for the team. He actually started the game by leading drives of 61 and 66 yards, but both ended with field goals. His TDs twice brought the Raiders within five points of the opposition, but the offense fizzled, and he threw a pick to effectively seal the deal on his next drive. He's likely to be the starter again next week, but will be a risky option in fantasy -- Las Vegas will face the tough Denver Broncos defense, which just handled the Atlanta Falcons with ease.

Gardner Minshew II To Continue Rough Season As Starter Against Miami
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II has been benched twice this season, yet he was named the starter for his Week 11 game against the Miami Dolphins by head coach Antonio Pierce. 2024 hasn't been kind to the sixth-year pro -- he's tossed just six touchdowns, some in garbage time, while throwing eight interceptions and losing four fumbles. Turning the ball over more than twice for every meaningful score isn't a recipe for success. The Dolphins defense is coming off a surprisingly good effort against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 10. Minshew faces an uphill battle and is only a starting option in deep 2QB leagues in fantasy football.

Gardner Minshew II Will Start In Week 11
Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce announced that veteran Gardner Minshew II will start at quarterback against the Miami Dolphins in Week 11. There was speculation that former Atlanta Falcons starter Desmond Ridder would get the nod, but the organization is rolling with Minshew for at least one more week. Minshew has been benched three times this year and has not had much success through his first eight games in the Silver and Black. The 28-year-old has completed 67% of his passes for 1,501 yards, six touchdowns, and eight interceptions in 2024. He is not on the fantasy football radar in single-QB formats.

Gardner Minshew II Benched Yet Again In Blowout Loss
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II was benched for the third time in the Raiders' Week 9 blowout loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Las Vegas lost the game 21-41, and it was never close. Minshew completed 10 of 17 passes for 124 yards and lost a fumble in another dreadful outing. With former starter Aidan O'Connell (thumb) not eligible to return until a Week 13 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs, it's possible we could see current backup Desmond Ridder, who replaced Minshew in the loss, start in Week 11, after the bye. Ridder completed 11 of 16 pass attempts for 74 yards, a touchdown, and lost a fumble as well. Things are looking bleak in LV's quarterback room. Minshew may not play at all in Week 11, but head coach Antonio Pierce hasn't confirmed next game's starting QB yet.

Gardner Minshew II Faces Softer Pass Defense This Week
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II was actually fringe-startable in his Week 8 loss with the Kansas City Chiefs, but that was mainly due to him authoring a garbage time drive that went for a touchdown. He faces the Cincinnati Bengals this week, though. They boast a high-powered offense that could have the game out of hand before the fourth quarter, which would give him more opportunities for meaningless scores. Still, considering his penchant for turnovers (five of them in the last two games), he's a risky player to set in lineups in 1QB leagues. In 2QB or Superflex leagues, he's a decent start. Unsurprisingly, he appears to play better when his No. 1 wide receiver, Jakobi Meyers (ankle) plays, and he's expected to play Sunday.
