The Jaguars were clearly focusing on the passing game, and Tuten "looked good as a receiver out of the backfield." It is important to mention that second-year pass-catching back LeQuint Allen Jr. (undisclosed) is currently missing from action due to an undisclosed soft-tissue injury. It is unclear right now if Allen's injury will jeopardize his availability for the start of the 2026 regular season, but if it does, it would be a plus for Tuten's overall fantasy football upside. The 23-year-old former fourth-rounder last year from Virginia Tech ran for 307 yards and five touchdowns on 83 carries while adding only 10 catches for 79 yards and two more TDs in 15 games in his rookie campaign in 2025. Tuten is the team's highest-upside and most explosive fantasy back, but his overall upside will be limited while sharing early-down and potentially goal-line work with Chris Rodriguez Jr. And when healthy, Allen is expected to be the Jags' primary passing-down back. Seattle Seahawks safety Bud Clark (ankle) suffered a broken ankle in the 19-16 preseason loss to the Tennessee Titans. On the first defensive snap, Clark was injured and carted off with an air cast on his right ankle. Head coach Mike MacDonald told reporters postgame that the second-round pick is expected to miss several months. With the 2026 second-round pick likely to miss a substantial amount of time, Ty Okada is set to fill his position, while second-year Nick Emmanwori could be forced to play more free safety once he's healthy. It's possible Clark could return if he doesn't require surgery, but it's still a tough blow for the Seahawks defense, which was hoping for solid production from the rookie.

Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh is not concerned about the lack of targets for wide receiver Carnell Tate. He's got great hunger. He's twitchy. He can attack the ball. He runs great routes. It'll be exciting to see him work this season with the aggression that he has." Wicks was underutilized in Green Bay's crowded receiver room, averaging fewer than four targets per game over three seasons. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hollywood Brown is not expected to have a major role in the 2026 season. The former first-round pick signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the Eagles this season, with expectations that he could be the second-string receiver behind DeVonta Smith. Slayton led the Giants' starting lineup in snaps and targets, playing all eight snaps on the team's opening drive with quarterback Jameis Winston. The veteran receiver had 538 yards and one touchdown in 14 games last season, though he is expected to play a smaller role with Malik Nabers back from injury and free-agency additions across the board. While Slayton's blocking and deep-threat ability could keep him on the field over the other names, he is unlikely to be a key contributor in fantasy leagues this season.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty (ankle) is believed to have sprained his ankle during Sunday's practice, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jeanty was injured on an overthrown pass he tried to dive for, colliding with a defensive back. The second-year back reportedly couldn't put weight on his right ankle, and the entire team took a knee as they helped him off. While it appeared to be a significant injury for the former sixth-overall pick, Jeanty appears to have avoided major injury. While it's unclear whether he suffered a low-ankle or high-ankle sprain, Jeanty's fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief. We will have to wait and see how significant Jeanty's ankle injury is, but fantasy managers can resume drafting the star running back.

The New York Giants have reportedly fielded calls about trading wide receiver Darnell Mooney, according to Art Stapleton. Mooney signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Giants this offseason, with expectations that he would pair with star wideout Malik Nabers on the outside. While Mooney has had a strong training camp, rookie receiver Malachi Fields' emergence could prompt the team to trade Mooney for value and let Fields operate with the starters this season. The former Falcons' receiver struggled in 2025, hauling in 44% of his targets for 443 yards and one touchdown in 15 games. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on this Giants' receiver situation, as any move involving Mooney and veteran Darius Slayton could open the door for Fields to have a bigger role this season.

Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson is set to bounce back from his disastrous 2025 season. With quarterback J.J. McCarthy under center, Jefferson struggled, hauling in 44 of 80 targets for 537 yards and two touchdowns, all career lows. The Vikings named quarterback Kyler Murray the starter. While his passing production may not match that of former Vikings quarterbacks Kirk Cousins or Sam Darnold, it's expected to be far better than McCarthy's. Even when veteran Carson Wentz started, Jefferson averaged 6.8 receptions for 95.4 yards in those five games. Jefferson is currently ranked WR6 in RotoBaller's positional rankings, and assuming Murray stays healthy, he should be a surefire WR1 option in 2026.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins could see a monster target share in 2026. In three seasons with quarterback C.J. Stroud, Collins has hauled in 219 of 328 passes for 3,420 yards and 21 touchdowns in 42 games, averaging 14.3 half-PPR fantasy points per game. With second-year receiver Jayden Higgins (knee) out for the season with a torn ACL and Tank Dell (knee) expected to be limited, Collins could have a massive target share in 2026. Collins has averaged 7.8 targets per game over the last three seasons, which would've ranked 18th in the NFL last season. There's a strong possibility that Collins ranks inside the Top 10 in targets this season, and with his elite efficiency and red zone ability, he could be in line for a big 2026 season.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London could see his value rise significantly if the team's starting quarterback is Michael Penix Jr. Penix missed most of training camp after tearing his ACL late last season. With Penix out, former Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has handled most first-team reps and has struggled in camp, game action, and joint practices. London has already had a ton of success with Penix under center, catching 91 passes for 1,286 yards and nine touchdowns in 14 games with the third-year quarterback. London's fantasy managers should continue to monitor this quarterback competition, as Penix's connection with the star receiver bodes well for London's fantasy value this season.

The New Orleans Saints acquired running back Zamir White from the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night in exchange for linebacker Deion Jones. White was signed by the 49ers less than two weeks ago after injuries to running backs Christian McCaffrey (rest), Jordan James (ribs), and Kaelon Black (groin). With all three backs practicing on Sunday, White was sent to New Orleans, which has its own injury issues. Veteran running back Alvin Kamara (knee) is expected to miss some time, and Devin Neal (hamstring) was injured during the 49ers' Saturday preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams. While this could be another camp body for the Saints, it doesn't bode well for Neal, who has dealt with multiple injuries throughout training camp.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Rashid Shaheed should be a major factor in the team's offense this season. Shaheed was traded from the New Orleans Saints to the Seahawks last season and was unproductive as a receiver. Across 12 games, including the postseason, he caught 18 of 36 targets for 266 yards and no touchdowns, averaging under three fantasy points per game. With a full offseason with quarterback Sam Darnold and the Seahawks offense, Shaheed should be able to contribute much more. Seahawks beat writer Justin Melo praised Shaheed, saying, "The sky is the limit for Shaheed in Brian Fleury's offense this season, and it's exciting to see him making plays at camp." Currently ranked WR56 in RotoBaller's positional rankings, Shaheed offers a ton of upside in the late rounds of fantasy drafts.

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones Sr. is entering his 10th season in the NFL and will remain with the Vikings after restructuring his contract in March. The 31-year-old will be splitting snaps with Jordan Mason for a second season, as they were listed as co-starters on the team's unofficial depth chart. Jones is expected to be the primary back on passing downs while Mason will be the lead back on early downs. The team deployed a similar plan last year with the two backs, and Jones finished as the RB41 overall in PPR leagues while averaging 9.9 points per game. RotoBaller has the former fantasy star ranked as the RB44 in full PPR formats and should be viewed as a low-end RB4 with limited upside in redraft leagues.

New Orleans Saints running back Devin Neal (hamstring) recently saw a slight bump in his fantasy value after fellow running back Alvin Kamara suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee during a joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys early last week. However, Neal is battling his own hamstring injury, which he aggravated in the first quarter of yesterday's preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams. The 23-year-old has been dealing with a hamstring issue over the last two weeks, despite returning to practice last week. With Kamara sidelined, Neal has a chance to compete with Kendre Miller (back) for the No. 2 running back spot behind Travis Etienne Jr. for the rest of training camp and preseason. However, it would take an injury to Etienne and Kamara for Neal to have fantasy value during the regular season, and he should remain off fantasy radars during drafts.

Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers rookie second-round wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling (shoulder) returned to training camp practice on Sunday after he missed Saturday's session with a shoulder injury, according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner. Stribling was seen wearing a no-contact jersey in his return. The 23-year-old from Ole Miss is considered day-to-day for now after suiting up for Thursday's 41-17 win in the preseason over the Los Angeles Chargers. He has been standing out in practices and in two preseason games, catching 11 of his 13 targets for 109 yards. Stribling should have a key role in San Fran's passing game right away in 2026 after the Niners learned that Ricky Pearsall (knee) would miss the entire season with recurring PCL issues. The team added veteran Deebo Samuel Sr. to the fold, but Stribling has looked the part all summer and is worth a late-round flier in all single-year fantasy football leagues. He is currently ranked as RotoBaller's No. 51 fantasy WR for 2026. Barring a setback with his shoulder, Stribling should be fine for Week 1 of the regular season in Australia versus the division-rival Los Angeles Rams.

ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports San Francisco 49ers wideout Mike Evans (ankle) participated in much of practice on Sunday, but did not go all the way through it and stopped participating near the end. Wagoner noted that Evans was "moving fine," and connected with quarterback Brock Purdy for a big gain during practice. However, Evans and the 49ers want to be cautious to get him ready for Week 1 against division rival Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia. Evans had some tightness in his quad earlier this week and had his left foot/ankle wrapped and iced. The 33-year-old is expected to be the No. 1 receiver in the offense this year and will have a big role in the passing game, especially in the red zone. If Evans can play a full 17-game season, he will have an opportunity to lead the league in receiving touchdowns in 2026.

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey (undisclosed) said his absence in training camp was always part of the plan to have him ready for Week 1 of the 2026 regular season, according to Nick Wagoner of ESPN. "Obviously when you don't practice, the way the media works now it's a firestorm," McCaffrey said. "But this was kind of part of the plan from the jump was to ramp up pretty big, get nine, 10 practices in, kind of come back down and then ramp back up so we're fresh for the duration... And again, I feel great. I feel fresh, and it's good to be back out there." The Niners have been holding out their star RB late with undisclosed tightness, but he returned to practice on Sunday and even jumped into team drills. San Francisco is taking every precaution to keep the oft-injured four-time Pro Bowler as fresh as possible going into Week 1 after he had 1,202 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns on a career-high 311 carries in 2025 in 17 regular-season games, adding 102 catches for 924 yards and another seven scores. CMC remains one of the most talented dual-threat backs in the league, but his lengthy injury history makes him high-risk, high-reward as RotoBaller's No. 3 overall RB.

New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh said there is a chance that wide receiver Malik Nabers (knee) could shed the no-contact jersey this week at practice, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN. "That's a possibility. We'll just have to see where he's at," Harbaugh said. With three weeks until the 2026 opener, Harbaugh does not think it's a necessity for Nabers to take contact this week. The 23-year-old former first-rounder from LSU returned to team drills last week at training camp, but he has yet to be cleared for contact and did not take part in joint practices with the Miami Dolphins before Saturday's 26-3 preseason win. Barring a setback from his torn ACL and meniscus suffered early last year, Nabers is trending in the right direction to be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 regular season on Sunday night against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 13. He is still a risk for fantasy managers coming off a major knee injury, but Nabers' progress in recent weeks should make him a more attractive low-end WR1 pick in upcoming drafts.

Dallas Cowboys running back Malik Davis "seems to be the player with whom the Cowboys are most comfortable" in the RB2 role behind starting back Javonte Williams, per Jon Machota of The Athletic. Davis played in 10 games for Dallas in 2025, recording 250 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 52 carries. The 27-year-old has been competing for the Cowboys' RB2 role in training camp with 2025 draftees Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah. While Machota acknowledges that Blue specifically has the higher upside, he predicts that Davis will open the year as Dallas' primary backup. As long as Williams remains healthy, neither Davis nor Blue is likely to see a fantasy-relevant workload. Still, fantasy managers searching for a handcuff option for Williams may want to target Davis with a late-round draft pick.
