T.J. Hockenson News
Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson caught 10 of his 11 targets for 129 receiving yards in the Wild Card loss to the New York Giants. Hockenson was a fantasy star after he was dealt to the Vikings, so expect him to come off the board among the first five tight ends in 2023 fantasy drafts. Hockenson posted 633 receiving yards and three touchdowns in ten full games with Kirk Cousins in the Minnesota offense, so the 25-year-old's dynasty value and 2023 redraft value skyrocketed. Hockenson and Cousins are under contract for at least one more season for the Vikings.
Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson caught 86 passes for 914 yards and six touchdowns during his 2022 campaign, but one of his two massive performances came against the New York Giants in Week 16. In that game, Hockenson caught 13 passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns, scoring 38.9 DraftKings points. Earlier in the year, he had a 42.9 DraftKings points performance, catching eight passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns. In DFS contests, upside is all that matters. Hockenson has a higher ceiling than any tight end on this six-game slate, and he's cheaper than George Kittle and Mark Andrews. It'll be a challenge to fit Justin Jefferson and Hockenson in the same lineup, but that could be the foundation for a top prize this weekend.
Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson caught just one pass for 16 yards in the 29-13 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 18. Hockenson has been a fantasy stud this season, but Minnesota pulled their starters early in this contest. Between his time as a Detroit Lions and Minnesota Viking this season, Hockenson totaled 86 receptions for 914 yards and two touchdowns en route to a top-five finish among fantasy tight ends. Hockenson's value in next season's fantasy draft should climb, as he's close to entering the elite fantasy tight end group and is entering his prime.
