Haydn Fleury Fantasy Stats

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Haydn Fleury (kneecap) left Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Kings in the second period after injuring his kneecap while blocking a shot. Jets head coach Scott Arniel told reporters after the game that Fleury was still being evaluated to determine the severity of his injury. In two games this season, Fleury has recorded two shots, five blocks, and seven hits. Colin Miller will likely join the lineup as Fleury's replacement if he can't play on Monday against the New York Islanders. Miller has much more offensive potential than Fleury but still lacks fantasy appeal.

Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Haydn Fleury (hand) was activated from long-term Injured Reserve on Sunday. The 27-year-old has been absent for 12 games, but it looks like he's ready to jump back into action after the All-Star break. Tampa Bay has its next game scheduled against the Rangers on Feb. 7. Fleury has made 12 appearances this season, posting one goal and three assists with nine shots on goal, 10 hits, and 15 blocks. The Lightning also hope to get Erik Cernak (upper body) and Mikhail Sergachev (lower body) back after the break, meaning Fleury might still not make the lineup when the action resumes.

Anaheim Ducks defenseman Haydn Fleury will play in his first game as a Duck on Wednesday night. A trade brought Fleury to Anaheim. He was playing for the Hurricanes, where he put up just one point in 35 contests. The 24-year-old Canadian had 48 shots on goal for Carolina while averaging 13:36 of ice time per game. Fleury has played in 167 NHL regular season games, all with Carolina.
