Adisyn Coffey Promoted To Triple-A
Chicago White Sox pitching prospect Adisyn Coffey is being promoted to Triple-A Charlotte. Coffey operated exclusively out of the bullpen earlier this season with Double-A Birmingham and posted a 0.53 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, 15:5 K:BB ratio, and tallied three saves. Coffey should be expected to have a similar role with Triple-A. The 25-year-old was on a stellar 13-inning scoreless streak before the promotion, where he tallied all three of his saves and struck out nine. The former third round selection should remain on all waiver wires but could be worth a look if he is promoted to the major leagues later this summer, as he could enter the mix for save opportunities on the Southside.
