Rockies
The Colorado Rockies recalled outfield prospect Jordan Beck from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday and placed first baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant (back) on the 10-day injured list with a back strain in a corresponding move. Beck, the Rockies' No. 3 prospect per MLB Pipeline, will be in his second stint with the Rockies this year. The 23-year-old former 38th overall pick in 2022 out of Tennessee struggled in his first stint with the big-league club earlier this year, going just 15-for-79 (.190) with two homers, eight RBI, two steals and 30 strikeouts in 81 plate appearances. He is not in Monday's starting lineup against the division-rival Arizona Diamondbacks but will provide depth for the Rockies' outfield with Bryant out again. Beck also missed considerable time in the minors with a fractured left hand but has hit .319/.402/.558 with a .960 OPS with eight homers, 35 RBI and six steals in 39 games for the Isotopes.

Jordan Beck Has Four-Hit Night At Triple-A
Colorado Rockies outfield prospect Jordan Beck went 4-for-5 on Tuesday night for Triple-A Albuquerque for his third straight multi-hit outing. The 23-year-old raised his Triple-A slash line to .310/.398/.556. Beck got a taste of the majors this season, hitting .190 in 27 games with two homers and eight RBI. The Rockies' No. 3 prospect could earn another shot in the big leagues with his recent performance at Triple-A. He could be worth a look as a waiver-wire addition if he gets the call-up back to Coors Field.

Jordan Beck Hits Homer In Triple-A Rehab Game
Colorado Rockies outfield prospect Jordan Beck (hand) hit a home run for Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday night. It was the second homer of rehab assignment after returning from a broken left hand. The Rockies' No. 3 prospect has two homers and eight RBI with Colorado in 79 at-bats. He has hit .313 with six homers and 30 RBI for Albuquerque this season. The 23-year-old has 55-grade power and speed, making him an intriguing fantasy option given that he plays his home games at Coors Field. He is worth monitoring to see how he performs in his eventual return to the Rockies.

Jordan Beck Doing Baseball Activities
Colorado Rockies outfield prospect Jordan Beck (hand) was set to go back to Arizona on Sunday to begin full baseball activities. Beck has been with the Rockies since July 2 after getting his cast off a couple weeks prior. "He hit today in the cage, looked good," manager Bud Black said on Sunday. "He's doing defensive drills. When he gets clearance to really swing the bat with intensity and authority and he's game ready, then it's just a matter of him getting his repetitions and then we'll see how he does." In his first 23 games in the big leagues earlier this year, Beck hit just .190 with two homers, eight RBI, one walk and 30 strikeouts. The 23-year-old is ranked as the Rockies' No. 3 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, but they may send him back to the minors for a while once his rehab assignment is up before giving him another run at major-league pitching.

Jordan Beck To Be Evaluated This Week
Colorado Rockies outfield prospect Jordan Beck (hand) was scheduled to return to Denver by Wednesday to be seen by team personnel. Beck has been at the team's complex in Arizona after having surgery on May 29 to insert a plate in his hand to aid in his healing after he suffered a broken left hand on May 25. "Out of the cast, doing baseball activities, I think he's here to get checked on by our team doctors and [head athletic trainer Keith Dugger] and the rest of the guys. He's doing great, he's doing well," manager Bud Black said. Per MLB Pipeline, Beck is the team's No. 3 prospect, and he could be cleared to start a rehab assignment soon. The former 38th overall pick in 2022 out of Tennessee made his big-league debut this year and struggled, going 15-for-79 (.190) with two homers, eight RBI, two steals, one walk and 30 K's in 23 games played.

Jordan Beck Officially Placed On Injured List
Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck (hand) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Sunday afternoon with a left-hand fracture. Beck suffered the injury on Saturday night while attempting to make a diving catch against the Philadelphia Phillies. There is no definitive timeline for his return. Beck had been struggling at the major-league level at the time of his injury as evidenced by his .190 average and bloated 37% K%. Outfielder Sean Bouchard was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque and will start in left field against the Phillies on Sunday. Bouchard has had modest success across 66 MLB games in his career, but he is better off being left on the waiver wire for the time being.

Jordan Beck Suffers Broken Left Hand Saturday
Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck broke his left hand while trying to make a diving catch in left field during Saturday's game against the Phillies. There is no definitive timetable for his return yet, but he'll be sidelined for an extended period of time. After a hot start at Triple-A, Beck was called up to the majors only to struggle through his first 23 MLB games, hitting just .190 and posting a 1:30 BB:K (37.0% K%). The Rockies have summoned Sean Bouchard from Triple-A to take Beck's place on the roster. Bouchard has seen some success in limited action at the major league level in 2022 and 2023, but is probably off the radar for season-long fantasy for now. While Beck was not hitting well, managers who have an IL spot could stash Beck there until his return and hope that he eventually finds the stroke that made him successful at Triple-A.

Jordan Beck Belts First Homer, Racks Up Five RBI
Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck belted his first major-league home run in Wednesday's blowout win over the division-rival San Diego Padres, totaling five RBI during a three-hit afternoon. Filling in for the injured Nolan Jones (back) at the moment, Beck hit a two-run double off Padres right-hander Michael King in the second inning before homering in the sixth for two more RBI to get the rout fully underway. The 23-year-old top prospect is still hitting just .235 (12-for-51) with the aforementioned long ball, two doubles, six RBI, and one stolen base across 15 games since his promotion on April 30, so he'll likely need to find more success at the plate in order to avoid being optioned back to the minor leagues when Jones or Kris Bryant (back) rejoin Colorado's outfield in the near future.

Rockies Officially Calling Up Jordan Beck
The Colorado Rockies are officially calling up outfield prospect Jordan Beck to the major-league roster on Monday. Beck received the news on Sunday night and is traveling to Miami on Monday to join the team when they start their series with the Miami Marlins on Tuesday. The team's No. 4 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, gets his first big-league call-up after hitting .307 (31-for-101) with five homers, 10 doubles, 28 RBI, five stolen bases and 24 runs scored in 25 games with Triple-A Albuquerque. The 23-year-old former 38th overall pick in 2022 out of Tennessee should play every day with Nolan Jones (back) going on the injured list on Monday. Beck should immediately become attractive in most fantasy formats in the short term for his raw power from the right side of the plate as long as he's playing every day in Colorado.

Jordan Beck Could Be Called Up By The Rockies
According to Luke Zahlmann of the Denver Gazette, the Colorado Rockies could call up outfielder Jordan Beck, the team's No. 4 prospect on MLB Pipeline, ahead of their three-game series against the Miami Marlins on Tuesday. The expectation is that the young outfielder would replace Nolan Jones (back) -- who could be headed to the injured list with a back issue -- on the active roster. Beck has gotten off to a hot start at Triple-A Albuquerque, hitting .307 with five home runs and 28 RBI through 25 games. His promotion would be his MLB debut after being drafted 38th overall in the 2022 MLB Draft. If he officially gets called up on Tuesday, the outfielder would be someone to keep an eye on in fantasy due to his quick ascension to the majors.
