Jordan Beck Absent on Sunday

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck is out of the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's game against the San Diego Padres. Beck will head to the bench for the first time since September 2. During that 10 game span, Beck is hitting .308 with one homer, seven RBI, and three steals. Beck is certainly worth a look in deep leagues at the minimum right now. On Sunday, Yanquiel Fernandez will take over in right field and bat sixth. Fantasy managers should expect Beck back in the lineup after this game.

Jordan Beck Heads to the Bench

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck is out of the starting lineup ahead of Saturday's game against the Chicago Cubs. Beck will get a rare day off on Saturday after starting in nine straight games. He's looking like he could use a day off after going 2-for-19 over his last five games. It has been an ugly week or so at the plate for Beck, but he was doing well at the plate before that. Mickey Moniak, Brenton Doyle, and Tyler Freeman will cover the outfield at Coors Field on Saturday. Fantasy managers should expect Beck back in the lineup following this game.

Jordan Beck Smashes Homer No. 9

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 3-1 road win against the Washington Nationals. The Tennessee alum also doubled and struck out. Beck delivered a solo insurance bomb off a hanging Jose A. Ferrer changeup in the eighth inning to extend his team's lead to 3-1 -- his ninth long ball of the season. Most of his underlying metrics have improved from his first stint in the big leagues last season, and he's particularly squaring the ball up well. The 24-year-old boasts LA SwSp% (37.4%) and barrel-rates (12.9%) in the 76th and 78th percentiles, respectively, with modest increases in average exit velocity (88.1 MPH) and hard-hit rate (40.0%). Furthermore, he's hitting both lefties (.288) and righties (.256) well.

Jordan Beck Sitting on Tuesday

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck is taking the day off on Tuesday in D.C. against the hosting Washington Nationals. Sam Hilliard will make the start in left field and will bat eighth against Nationals right-hander Michael Soroka. Beck will take a day of rest after going 14-for-52 (.269) with four doubles, six RBI, four runs scored and a stolen base in the first 14 games in the month of June. The 24-year-old former first-rounder in 2022 out of Tennessee has settled in as an everyday player for the last-place Rockies in his second MLB season and is currently hitting .260/.322/.457 with a .780 OPS, eight home runs, 22 RBI, 32 runs scored and eight steals in 245 plate appearances. If Beck stays healthy, he has a shot at his first 20-20 campaign. Hilliard has one homer on the year in 28 at-bats and will be a low-upside DFS sleeper near the bottom of the order.

Jordan Beck Sitting on Saturday

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck is not in Saturday's lineup when the Rockies continue a series against the Atlanta Braves. Beck has been in the starting nine in each of the past nine games. During this stretch, the 24-year-old has posted a .333/.381/.410 line with three doubles, four RBI, one stolen base, and a 7:3 K:BB. This afternoon, the Rockies will give Sam Hillard the nod in left field. Hillard will also bat at the top of the lineup. Fantasy managers should expect Beck to return to action on Sunday. Through 59 games this season, Beck has been productive, holding a .265/.323/.465 slash line with eight home runs and eight stolen bases. This afternoon, the Rockies are best to fade in DFS as they will face Atlanta right-hander Spencer Strider.

Jordan Beck Gets Rest Day on Monday

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck will receive a rare off day on Monday. Beck is out of the starting lineup after playing in 39 straight games. He'll sit out against the Miami Marlins after going 1-for-19 over his last five games. In his place, Sam Hilliard will cover left field and bat in the leadoff spot against right-hander Max Meyer. The expectation is that Beck will be back in the lineup on Tuesday. His combination of speed and power make him worth a look in most fantasy formats.

Jordan Beck Homers Twice in Three-Hit Game

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck went 3-for-5 with a walk, a triple, and two home runs in Saturday's 14-12 win over the Diamondbacks, collecting three RBI and scoring four times in the process. Beck was 1-for-13 (.077) over his previous four games coming into Saturday, but with his ability to draw a walk, the 24-year-old has now reached base at least once in 15 consecutive games. The multi-HR effort was his third of the season already, and the right-handed hitter has put together a .265-8-16-24-5 stat line with a .386 wOBA and 133 wRC+ through 35 games played. Beck's strikeout rate of 27.5 percent is a bit high, but with his ability to get on base, steal bases, and hit home runs, he should probably be rostered in more than 20 percent of Yahoo! leagues, and his next seven games after Sunday will come at Coors Field.

Jordan Beck's Power Surge Continues, Homers Twice On Friday

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck went 2-for-3 with two home runs and two walks in Friday's 8-7 loss to the Cincinnati Reds. Beck blasted a solo shot in the bottom of the third inning for his first homer of the game. He later belted another solo shot in the eighth inning to make it a one-run ball game. Beck's second home run of the game was a towering blast that traveled 437 feet at 107.2 mph. The 24-year-old has now homered five times over his last three games. He is hitting a robust .667 (6-for-9) with five home runs, five RBI, and a stolen base during that three-game span. Overall, Beck is slashing .282/.391/.718 with five home runs, nine RBI, nine runs, and four stolen bases across 15 games. Beck continues to start with Brenton Doyle (personal) out, and fantasy managers should continue to roll with him while he's swinging a hot bat.

Jordan Beck Homers Three Times On Thursday

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck had a big day in a Thursday doubleheader against the Kansas City Royals. Across both games of the doubleheader, Beck combined to go 3-for-6 with three homers, a walk, three runs, and three RBI. Beck was one of the few bright spots on the day as the Rockies dropped both games of the doubleheader. The 24-year-old outfielder is now hitting .250 with three homers, seven runs, seven RBI, and three steals across 36 at-bats in 2025. Beck will look to stay hot as the Rockies open up a weekend series against the Cincinnati Reds.

Jordan Beck Recalled From Triple-A

The Colorado Rockies have recalled outfielder Jordan Beck from Triple-A Albuquerque. In a corresponding move, the Rockies officially placed outfielder Brenton Doyle on the bereavement roster effective April 17. Beck was able to earn a spot on the Opening Day roster but was later optioned to Triple-A after he struggled during the early part of the campaign. Through nine games this season, the 24-year-old posted a disappointing .150/.261/.150 slash line with just three total hits (all singles). He generated a low .193 xwOBA with a .122 xBA, which were both well below the average marks. Beck carried these struggles into Triple-A as he held a .143/.189/.286 line with one triple and one home run across nine contests. Beck is starting in left field on Saturday afternoon and could find a part-time role in the outfield while Doyle remains sidelined.
