Mitch Jebb Posts Three Straight Multi-Hit Games

Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop prospect Mitch Jebb has had at least two hits in his past three games at High-A Greensboro. The former second-round selection out of Michigan State has had a difficult time adjusting to High-A ball, but his recent production is a good sign that things are turning around for the young infielder. In his past six games, he has only gone hitless once and holds a strong .579/.724/.737 line. Through his first 63 games at this level, the number six ranked prospect in the Pittsburgh system sits with a .224/.319/.320 line with five long balls. However, since June 1, he holds a .272/.412/.358 line which suggests the 22-year-old could be in store for a nice second half of the season and breaking out of his prolonged slump.

Mitch Jebb Breaks Out Of Power Slump

Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop prospect Mitch Jebb launched a home run on Wednesday to break out of his 20-game power slump. The former second-round selection has struggled through his first look against High-A pitching. Through 38 games this season, the number seven prospect in the Pittsburgh system has posted a .197/.261/.303 line with four home runs, 18 RBI, nine stolen bases, and a 13:44 BB:K ratio. Last season, with Single-A Bradenton, he held a much better .297/.382/.398 line through 34 games. Jebb is projected to reach the majors in 2026 and should be left on the waiver wire in dynasty leagues for the foreseeable future.

Mitch Jebb Has First Career Two-Home Run Game

Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop prospect Mitch Jebb had his best game of the season as he launched two home runs and tallied five RBI in Wednesday's victory. Jebb has now hit a home run in back-to-back performances. Overall, on the season, the number eight ranked prospect in the Pittsburgh system, according to MLB Pipeline, has a .250/.318/.388 line with four swiped bags in his first season at High-A. The former Michigan State Spartan is finally showing his power potential after going through his first professional season at Single-A with only one round-tripper. For now, Jebb should be monitored in dynasty leagues and could emerge as a potential stash if he can reach Double-A this summer.
