Brandon Graham News
The Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed defensive end Brandon Graham to a one-year deal. This deal is worth up to $6 million for the upcoming 2023 campaign. The 13-year veteran has decided to stay with the Eagles rather than test free agency. The 34-year-old recorded a career-high 11 sacks last season, so he clearly still has something left in tank. Graham only needs to play in 11 more games to surpass kicker David Akers for the most regular season games played as an Eagle. This was a smart decision by the team to keep one of their fan-favorites around for at least one more season.
Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham said that the 2022 campaign will not be his last season and that he wants to play beyond this year. Graham tore his Achilles in 2021 in Week 2 and missed the rest of the year, but he's back to 100 percent health and is ready for the 2022 season. The 34-year-old veteran pass-rusher made his first Pro Bowl in 2020 by notching 46 tackles (35 solo), eight sacks, 13 tackles for loss, 16 QB hits, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 16 starts. His healthy return to Philly's defensive line will be a big boost this year.
Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham (Achilles) is feeling good, even going as far as saying it's like the "injury never happened." The 34-year-old tore his Achilles during Week 2 of the 2021-22 season, resulting in a trip to the injured reserve list. The veteran has been a dominant force for the Eagles during his career, totaling 312 solo tackles and 59 sacks throughout 12 years of service. Graham has been known to bounce back quickly from injuries, so considering he will enter the preseason without any restrictions, he should continue to provide value for managers in IDP formats, even though his best days may be behind him.
