Chris Moore Still Deep-League Relevant for Week 11?

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore has played more than expected this season, but hasn't drawn a target in each of the last three games. After earning at least one target in his first six games played this season, Moore's role in the offense has been decreasing despite the onslaught of injuries to Washington's wide receivers. The veteran ran just 19.2% of the team's routes in their Week 10 loss to the Lions, his lowest since all the way back in Week 1. With Treylon Burks (finger) ruled out for Week 11 against the Miami Dolphins, Moore could see his routes tick back up, but he hasn't shown enough production to be in any lineups.

Chris Moore In Line For Another Start in Week 10 Against Detroit

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore has been thrust into a high snap share this season with Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin) both missing extended periods of time. Moore has operated as Washington's primary outside receiver in their absences and has led the team in snaps in two of the past three weeks. The 32-year-old hasn't been very productive despite running a high number of routes, catching eight of his 17 targets for 164 yards and a touchdown in eight games this season (four starts). The veteran will likely see a lot of playing time again in a favorable Week 10 against a Lions defense that has allowed the sixth most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers. Moore hasn't fared as well in Marcus Mariota's starts compared to Jayden Daniels (elbow), posting just two receptions for 25 yards across Mariota's three starts. Moore is a desperation play only in deeper leagues on Sunday.

Chris Moore Has Deep League Appeal in Week 9

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore had his lowest route share in a game since Week 1 with the return of Terry McLaurin last week against the Chiefs, but McLaurin re-aggravated the quadriceps injury that sidelined him for four games and has been ruled out for Week 9's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Moore has stepped into a near full-time role in his absence, posting a 74% route share or higher in three of the four games. The 32-year-old has eight receptions for 164 yards and a touchdown on 17 targets in seven games this season. Moore is likely to run the most routes behind Deebo Samuel Sr. and carries some deep league appeal in Week 9, given the likely volume of routes he will see.

Chris Moore Still on Deep-League Radars For Week 8

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore will likely see his targets go down on Monday night against the Chiefs with the return of both Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel Sr. Moore has essentially replaced Noah Brown (groin) as one of the team's primary outside wide receivers, so his snap and route participation share will likely remain high in Week 8. The 32-year-old wideout hasn't been super productive in his extended run of playing time, catching seven of 16 targets for 130 yards and a touchdown in five games. Moore could have some value in deeper leagues solely because he is still likely to run a decent amount of routes, but it's a tough matchup against a Chiefs defense that has allowed the second-fewest PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers.

Chris Moore Could Continue to See Consistent Targets in Washington?

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore recorded two catches for 59 yards on five targets in his team's 44-22 Week 7 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. After seeing seven total targets over the first five weeks of the season, Moore has now earned 10 targets in his last two games. Moore's expanded role could continue, given the current injuries to Washington wideouts Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel), Terry McLaurin (quad), and Noah Brown (groin). Brown is on Injured Reserve, but Samuel Sr. and McLaurin could both return in Week 8 when the Commanders take on the Kansas City Chiefs. If Samuel Sr. and McLaurin remain sidelined, Moore should be expected to have a role in his team's passing game and could be a decent deep-league wide receiver/flex option.

Chris Moore Should Have Expanded Role

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore figures to have a larger role during Sunday's Week 7 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. The Commanders are without wideouts Terry McLaurin (quad), Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel), and Noah Brown (groin) for this game. That means, Luke McCaffrey and Moore will serve as the top wideouts in this offense. Moore posted a decent game last week where he hauled in three receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys secondary is already struggling, but now they'll be without top defensive back Trevon Diggs (concussion) as well. Moore could offer flex value in PPR formats.

Chris Moore Worth Flex Consideration in Great Matchup Against Dallas

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore has benefited from the absences of Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin), running the most routes of any Washington WR besides Deebo Samuel Sr. over the past few weeks. And Samuel's status for Sunday is uncertain as he continues to manage a heel injury. Moore made his first splash since being in Washington in Week 6 against Chicago, catching three of five targets for 46 yards and a touchdown on an athletic spinning catch. While Moore has run a decent number of routes lately, he hasn't been a target earner, recording just nine over the past three weeks. However, he has operated as Washington's preferred outside receiver and draws a matchup against a Dallas defense that has been torched this season, allowing the most PPR points per game. Moore is worth considering as a flex option in deeper leagues.

Chris Moore Steps Up in Week 6, In Line for More Opportunities Going Forward?

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore was pressed into action in Week 6, as the team was without wideouts Terry McLaurin (quad) and Noah Brown (groin, knee). Moore stepped up in his team's 25-24 loss to the Chicago Bears, recording three catches for 46 yards and a touchdown on five targets. The veteran wideout now has six catches for 105 yards and a score on 12 targets across five games this season. If McLaurin and Brown remain out in Week 7, Moore appears to be the favorite to step into Washington's WR2 role alongside Deebo Samuel Sr. The Commanders have a very favorable matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7, so Moore could represent a short-term solution off the waiver wire for fantasy managers in deep leagues.

Chris Moore A Desperate Play Monday Night Against Bears

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore has played as the primary outside receiver while top receivers Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (quad, knee) have missed multiple games. Moore has played at least 50% of the snaps in each of the past three weeks, but hasn't been a real target earner and has dropped multiple balls as well, including a touchdown last week against the Chargers. He's caught just two of six targets since Week 3. If Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) is unable to go on Monday against the Bears, then Moore could see a bump in targets. Even then, Moore is not a recommended option for Week 6.

Chris Moore a Low-End Flex Option in Deep Leagues?

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore could generate some appeal as a low-end flex in deeper leagues ahead of Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers. With neither Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) nor Noah Brown (groin) playing on Sunday, Moore should start at wide receiver alongside Deebo Samuel Sr. Purely based on expected snap share and volume, Moore could sneak onto the fantasy radar. Of course, he's not a lock to produce, as we saw last week when he played 70 percent of the snaps and saw three targets but didn't catch any of them. He'll also face plenty of competition for targets from Luke McCaffrey and Jaylin Lane. On a positive note, Washington gets a quarterback upgrade this week, as Jayden Daniels (knee) is healthy and will reclaim his starting job from Marcus Mariota. Fantasy managers dealing with extreme wide receiver problems due to injuries or bye weeks can consider starting Moore against the Chargers, but they should temper their expectations since Los Angeles has allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers.
