Chris Moore News
Houston Texans wide receiver Chris Conley (knee) and tight end Jordan Akins (illness) are inactive for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Tennessee Titans. Meanwhile, receiver Chris Moore (illness) is active. Conley will finish the year with just 22 catches for 323 yards and two touchdowns on 37 targets in 16 games played in his first year in Houston. Moore and Danny Amendola could see bigger roles on Sunday with Conley sidelined, but fantasy managers shouldn't trust any Texans receiver not named Brandin Cooks, who is the target hog of this passing attack. Rookie Nico Collins has the most upside beyond Cooks, but he's strictly been a dynasty/keeper stash in Houston's low-scoring offense.
Houston Texans wide receivers Chris Conley (knee) and Chris Moore (illness) are both listed as questionable for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Tennessee Titans. Tight end Jordan Akins (illness) is also questionable. Conley missed the entire week of practice, so he appears to be in the most danger of sitting out on Sunday. Brandin Cooks and rookie Nico Collins should be the top two receivers this weekend regardless, but Danny Amendola could have a bigger role if one or both of Conley and Moore are unable to play. Cooks has been the team's unquestioned No. 1 receiver and target hog in the Texans low-scoring offense this year, and he's the only fantasy wideout that can be trusted on this team.
Houston Texans wide receivers Chris Conley (knee) and Chris Moore (illness) and tight end Jordan Akins (illness) all missed practice on Thursday. Conley has missed both days of practice this week, while Moore and Akins were added to the Week 18 injury report on Thursday. All three players might have to practice on Friday in order to play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Tennessee Titans. None of the trio are worth coming anywhere near a fantasy starting lineup in one of the lowest scoring offenses in the NFL, but if both Conley and Moore do not play, Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins could both be in for heavy workloads as Houston attempts to bump the Titans from the No. 1 spot in the AFC.
