The former third-rounder (72nd overall) in 2019 out of North Carolina State will get a fresh start in the desert after spending the first six years of his NFL career in Cincy, where he racked up 616 tackles (355 solo), 3.5 sacks, 32 tackles for loss, 10 QB hits, seven interceptions, 23 pass breakups, seven forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries in 96 games (88 starts). He has had over 100-plus tackles in each of the last two years, including a career-high 143 (80 solo) in 17 starts in 2024. While Pratt is a strong tackler, he was exposed in coverage and could be more of a rotational linebacker in Vegas.

Pratt formally requested a trade back in February, but after the Bengals could not find a suitable partner, they decided to cut ties with him. It seems favorable that he'll draw interest from another linebacker-needy organization.
