Jack Stoll Set To Become Free Agent

The Philadelphia Eagles are not tendering tight end Jack Stoll, meaning he will become a free agent when the legal tampering period begins on March 11. Stoll has served as Dallas Goedert's backup in Philadelphia since being undrafted in the class of 2021. He has hauled in 20 of his 27 targets for 183 yards in three seasons with the organization. The Eagles are open to re-signing the 26-year-old, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, but he is likely to hit the open market.

Jack Stoll Not In Streaming Consideration Against 49ers

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Jack Stoll will take on the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. The 25-year-old has just two receptions in total over the past two weeks and 17 receiving yards. Dallas Goedert (forearm) has yet to practice this week and is in danger of missing the conference showdown, leaving Stoll as the clear starter once again. With that said, when Goedert has missed time, the Eagles have shifted from using two tight end sets to three wide receiver sets and hardly ever involve Stoll in the passing game. San Francisco allows the third-fewest fantasy points per game to tight ends so that matchup is not one to target either. Leave the Eagles backup tight end on the waiver wire in Week 13 in favor of a better option.

Jack Stoll Not On The Fantasy Radar Against Bills

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Jack Stoll will take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 12. The 25-year-old caught just one pass last week against the Kansas City Chiefs and rotated with Grant Calcaterra (ankle) and Albert Okwuegbunam. The Eagles elected to go with more three wide receiver sets last Monday without starting tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) and will likely do the same this weekend. When Goedert is out, no tight end has stepped up to fantasy relevance, and that will not change this weekend. Buffalo allows just 6.1 fantasy points per game to tight ends so far this year and should have no problem keeping Stoll and company in check this Sunday. Look for other options to stream this weekend.

Jack Stoll Catches Just One Pass Monday Night

Fantasy managers were curious as to how the Philadelphia Eagles target share would shake out in the first game without tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) in the fold on Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. Jack Stoll was the only player at the position to receive a target (he had two) and caught just one of them for a gain of three yards. Meanwhile, receiver DeVonta Smith was the busiest with eight targets (six catches for a team-high 99 yards) in the 21-17 victory. Goedert is expected to miss at least one more game while he heals from a fractured forearm, but Stoll isn't a realistic waiver-wire target in the short term. Grant Calcaterra left Monday's game with an injury, and the Eagles also have Albert Okwuegbunam at the position.

Jack Stoll Better Left On Waivers In Week 11

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Jack Stoll will go on the road to take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night in Week 11. The 25-year-old has operated as the No. 2 tight end for the Eagles this season and will now be tasked with stepping in as Dallas Goedert's (forearm) replacement. Last season, when Goedert missed five weeks, Stoll amassed just seven targets for a gain of 74 yards and rotated in with the other backups. Philadelphia has added former Denver Broncos tight end Albert Okwuegbunam to the rotation this year, which could make Stoll obsolete for fantasy purposes. Veteran receiver Julio Jones should also see his snap share rise to help supplement some of the Goedert targets. While many fantasy managers will be looking to replace Goedert, they should look elsewhere than his direct backup in Week 11.

Jack Stoll Catches Season-High Three Passes

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Jack Stoll caught all three of his targets and gained 41 yards during the team's 35-10 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The 24-year-old was not targeted once last week and had a total of four over the past four games coming into Sunday's contest. Stoll is the clear starter over rookie Grant Calcaterra but rotates out of the offense too often to carry any sort of streaming appeal moving forward. Starting tight end Dallas Goedert (shoulder) is targeting a Week 15 return, so Stoll's time in the spotlight will come to a close shortly. Next week's matchup against the New York Giants is decent, but he is not on the streaming radar for Week 14, with just seven targets over the last five games.

Jack Stoll Off The Fantasy Radar

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Jack Stoll will face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night. The 24-year-old has taken over for Dallas Goedert (shoulder), who was placed on Injured Reserve. However, he has not been the fantasy force that Goedert was as the Eagles' top tight end. Stoll has caught just one pass in each of the past three games and has failed to top 13 yards. Grant Calcaterra has rotated into the TE1 role, putting both players off the fantasy radar. The targets that once went to Goedert have been spread to wide receivers, DeVonta Smith and Quez Watkins. Unless Stoll can carve out a larger role in the offense, he can safely be left on the waiver wire and should not be considered a viable fantasy option in Week 12 against Green Bay.

Jack Stoll Only Eagles Tight End Targeted In Week 11

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Jack Stoll caught his lone target for seven yards during the team's 17-16 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. With tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) being placed on Injured Reserve this past week, Stoll stepped in as the starting tight end and rotated with rookie Grant Calcaterra. He ended the game as the only Philadelphia tight end to receive a target. The target share was spread around to the wide receiver corps with Goedert out, making Stoll a non-factor. Moving forward, DeVonta Smith and Quez Watkins are more likely to see a target bump in Goedert's absence rather than the rest of the Eagles' tight ends, so none should be viewed as viable fantasy options unless proven otherwise. Stoll should be left on the waiver wire next week during his matchup against Green Bay.

Jack Stoll, Grant Calcaterra To See Expanded Roles In Week 11

Philadelphia Eagles tight ends Jack Stoll and Grant Calcaterra will go on the road to face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11. With Dallas Goedert (shoulder) placed on Injured Reserve, both backup tight ends will see their roles in the offense expanded this weekend. There is no clear-cut answer as to who will take over the role as the No. 1 tight end. Stoll seems to be the most likely candidate due to Calcaterra being a rookie. However, both may eat into each other's snaps enough to make neither a fantasy-relevant option moving forward. Keep a close eye on the snap share this week against an Indianapolis defense that gives up the 10th-most fantasy points per game, but do not consider starting either option this week.

Jack Stoll, Grant Calcaterra To See More Usage

Philadelphia Eagles tight ends Jack Stoll and Grant Calcaterra will see increased usage moving forward with tight end Dallas Goedert (shoulder) out indefinitely after suffering a shoulder injury in Monday night's loss to the Washington Commanders. Stoll has played 40 percent of the offensive snaps but is used more as a blocker. He has eight catches in 25 career games. Calcaterra, a rookie, showed some pass-catching potential in training camp. Tyree Jackson (knee) could come off Injured Reserve this week and is another player to watch at the position for Philadelphia. Stoll has four catches for 49 yards in nine games this season. The Eagles are likely to use multiple tight ends to make up for the absence of Goedert, and none of them are particularly attractive as waiver-wire pickups in standard-sized, single-year leagues.
