Jalen Reagor News
The New England Patriots have signed wide receiver Jalen Reagor to their practice squad. Reagor was waived by the Minnesota Vikings earlier this week. The 24-year-old has failed to live up to the hype of being drafted 21st overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020. Last season, he finished with eight receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown in 17 games with the Vikings. He was mainly used as a kicker returner last season. If anyone can turn around an underperforming young talent it's going to be Bill Belichick. Reagor is unlikely to have much fantasy value right away, but maybe the Patriots can help get his career back on track.
Wide receiver Jalen Reagor will be looking for a new team after getting waived by the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota acquired the former first-round pick from the Philadelphia Eagles last offseason but he finished the season with a career-low eight catches. The Vikings were reportedly receiving calls from other teams about acquiring Reagor via a trade. If that's the case, the ex-TCU Horned Frog could find a landing spot soon.
The Minnesota Vikings have received calls inquiring about the availability of former first-round wide receiver Jalen Reagor, according to a source. The Vikings acquired him from the Philadelphia Eagles about a year ago, and he went on to catch a career-low eight passes on 13 targets for 104 yards and one touchdown in 17 games (zero starts) for the Vikings in 2022. With All-Pro Justin Jefferson, rookie first-rounder Jordan Addison and K.J. Osborn ahead of him on Minnesota's receiver depth chart entering the 2023 regular season, Reagor will have a minimal role on offense if he remains in Minnesota. Even if he's traded to another team, though, the 24-year-old probably won't suddenly be on the fantasy radar. In the preseason with Minnesota, Reagor caught eight of his 11 targets for 93 yards.
