Will Kacmarek Fantasy Stats

Miami Dolphins tight end Will Kacmarek played more snaps last week against the Vikings than veteran tight end Greg Dulcich. Kacmarek got two targets and caught one for 15 yards, which was actually the second-highest total of receiving yards on the team in Miami's 15-10 loss to the Vikings. QB Malik Willis threw for just 85 yards in the loss, and the passing offense has been anemic all season. The third-round rookie out of Ohio State could continue to grow as an option, though, and has also been effective as a blocker in the team's run-heavy scheme. Against the Bengals this week, Kacmarek is only the No. 57 TE in RotoBaller's Week 5 rankings, but it is worth watching if he can seize the starting job and find enough opportunities to make an impact in a Miami offense searching for playmakers. He's a Dynasty stash worth considering in extremely deep leagues, but for now, he's just a rookie option to watch in standard-sized leagues.

Despite a ton of hype surrounding Miami Dolphins tight end Greg Dulcich, he may not be the starting tight end in 2026. According to ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques, third-round rookie tight end Will Kacmarek is expected to start right away in his rookie season, making Dulcich a TE1B or TE2 for this season. The former Broncos and Giants tight end played 10 games last season with Miami, hauling in 26 of 33 passes for 335 yards and one touchdown. With the team expected to use heavy personnel frequently in 2026, both Dulcich and Kacmarek will contribute to the offense. However, with limited passing volume or production expected from Malik Willis, Dulcich may not be worth a dart throw in fantasy this season.

The Miami Dolphins have selected Ohio State tight end prospect Will Kacmarek with the 87th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Kacmarek spent three years at Ohio before joining the Buckeyes for his final two collegiate seasons. He had just 15 catches and two touchdowns during his final year at school, but he snuck his way into Day 2 of the draft because of his blocking ability. Widely regarded as the best blocking tight end in this year's draft, Kacmarek will provide plenty of protection for Malik Willis and De'Von Achane in a Dolphins offense that is expected to adopt a run-heavy approach in 2026. Although he should make an impact right away in the trenches, there's not much fantasy appeal here. He ranks outside the top 85 tight ends in RotoBaller's latest dynasty rankings, and he can be avoided in most rookie drafts.
