Lew Nichols Dealing With Shoulder Injury
Green Bay Packers rookie running back Lew Nichols (shoulder) did not play in the team's preseason opener on Friday night against the Cincinnati Bengals due to a shoulder injury. Nichols, who was a seventh-round selection in this year's draft, has been sitting out due to a shoulder injury that he sustained early this month. The 21-year-old will need to get back on the field quickly and get some preseason action in to try and solidify himself a roster spot heading into the regular season. Right now, he's currently buried on Green Bay's running back depth chart behind Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon, Patrick Taylor and Tyler Goodson.
