Shy Tuttle Signs Tender On Thursday
New Orleans Saints restricted free-agent defensive tackle Shy Tuttle signed his tender offer on Thursday, according to his agents, Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln. The Saints initially extended a right-of-first-refusal tender to Tuttle. The 26-year-old defensive lineman had a career-high 48 tackles (17 solo), three tackles for loss, three passes defensed and a fumble recovery in 17 games (15 starts) for the Saints in 2021 while also contributing on special teams. Tuttle saw a significant role on defense and was strong in run defense, so he'll continue to solidify the team's interior on the defensive line for another season.
