Van Jefferson News
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson was pretty quiet in the 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday. Even with Odell Beckham Jr. (knee) not playing at all in the second half, Jefferson recorded four catches on eight targets for only 23 receiving yards. His eight targets were second only to MVP Cooper Kupp, but Jefferson was unable to get anything going down the field for the Rams. The 25-year-old saw significant growth in his second pro season, however, catching 50 of his 89 targets for 802 yards and six touchdowns in 17 regular season games. He served as the Rams No. 2 pass-catcher for a bit after Robert Woods' season-ending injury, and Jefferson will likely remain a boom/bust WR4/flex for fantasy managers next season.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson (knee) has been removed from the team's injury report and he is set to suit up for Super Bowl LVI against the Cincinnati Bengals. Jefferson has been dealing with a knee injury since before the NFC Championship game. He was able to play in the game, but caught just two of his five targets for nine yards. Jefferson is the clear No. 3 receiver on the Rams behind Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr. He actually slightly out-snapped Odell Beckham Jr. 67 to 66 in the NFC Championship game while Ben Skowronek was a distant fourth on the team in receiver snaps with just 21. However, Kupp and Beckham should dominate targets in the Super Bowl, making Jefferson nothing more than a risky touchdown-or-bust play.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson (knee) was able to log a full practice Thursday, a significant step in the right direction as it pertains to suiting up for Super Bowl LVI on Sunday. Jefferson was limited as recently as Wednesday, but the team's No. 3 wideout has now cleared a significant hurdle. While the 25-year-old was held to nine receiving yards during the NFC Championship Game, he remains an intriguing DFS tournament play at his price tag; he played 90 and 87 percent of L.A.'s offensive snaps over their past two games, respectively, indicative of his upside. Jefferson's availability likely knocks Ben Skowronek from any fantasy consideration, while further boosting Matthew Stafford's appeal due to a multiplicity of pass-catching weapons.

Despite having a near full-time role in 2021, Van Jefferson still managed just 50 catches for 802 yards and six touchdowns on 89 targets. That breaks down to 2.9 catches for 47.2 yards on 5.2 targets per game. But Jefferson did top 14 PPR points in...
