Titans
The Tennessee Titans signed free-agent defensive end Trevis Gipson to an undisclosed deal on Thursday, according to a source. Gipson makes his way to Tennessee after the Chicago Bears waived him on roster cutdown day on Tuesday. The 26-year-old had requested a trade over the weekend with his role set to diminish in 2023. The former fifth-round pick of the Bears in 2020 out of Tulsa has 75 tackles (41 solo), 10 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, 21 QB hits, five passes defensed, five forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in his three NFL campaigns. He will give the Titans some extra pass-rushing depth off the edge entering the regular season.

Trevis Gipson To Seek Trade
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Chicago Bears defensive end Trevis Gipson has been granted permission to seek a trade. Gipson, drafted in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, recorded a career-high seven sacks in 2021. However, he had only three last season. With the Bears bringing in Yannick Ngakoue during the offseason, Gipson fell down the depth chart, so he's likely looking for a consistent role while also playing in a system better suited for his skill set.

Bears Bring in Pass Rusher Trevis Gipson
The Chicago Bears have selected Tulsa defensive end Trevis Gipson with the No. 155 pick during the 2020 NFL Draft. He's a solid athlete with good hands and a well-built frame. Gipson finished with 49 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and eight sacks during his senior season at Tulsa in 2019. He's a nice prospect to have behind Khalil Mack. He probably won't see much action in 2020, but he's a solid developmental prospect for Chicago.
