Tyler Higbee Going on Injured Reserve

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that tight end Tyler Higbee (ankle) will go on Injured Reserve, according to Adam Grosbard of the Los Angeles Daily News. Higbee will be forced to miss at least the next four games. The earliest he'll be available to return for the Rams will be for their Week 16 matchup against the division-rival Seattle Seahawks. The 32-year-old wasn't really moving the fantasy needle much before his ankle injury, catching 20 of his 30 targets for 190 yards and two touchdowns for L.A. in nine games played (seven starts). With Higbee now out of the picture for the foreseeable future, all three of Colby Parkinson, Terrance Ferguson, and Davis Allen could see more targets, with Ferguson being the most attractive flier for fantasy managers in TE-premium leagues.

Tyler Higbee's Role Slipping as Teammates Emerge

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has started to see his role slip away, coinciding with the emergence of rookie tight end Terrance Ferguson and veteran Colby Parkinson. Higbee caught just one of two targets for 23 yards last Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. He played only 39 percent of the offensive snaps, but this was partly due to an ankle injury sidelining him for a portion of a contest. Nevertheless, even if he were fully healthy, Higbee likely wouldn't have seen enough usage to achieve fantasy relevance. He's losing key opportunities to Ferguson, who had 117 yards in three games from Week 7 to 10, and Parkinson, who scored in back-to-back games while playing roughly two-thirds of the snaps. As long as Higbee is vying for targets with Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, and several impactful tight ends, he'll be tough to trust in fantasy football. He can be left on waivers going forward, ranking outside the top 24 options at his position.

Tyler Higbee Questionable to Return with Ankle injury

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (ankle) is currently considered questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Higbee suffered an ankle injury during the second half of this contest. The severity of the issue is unclear, but it's already the fourth quarter, so it's uncertain if he'll return. Before exiting, Higbee hauled in one of his two targets for 23 yards. Terrance Ferguson figures to move up the depth chart and take on a larger role for the rest of this game, assuming Higbee doesn't return.

Tyler Higbee Remains a Deep-League Consideration in Favorable Matchup

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has held onto borderline fantasy value for most of this season, and he could continue to be deployed as a low-end fantasy starter in deeper leagues during Sunday's Week 11 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Volume has saved Higbee's value lately, as he has 17 targets and 13 catches (plus two touchdowns) over his last four games. He's the overall TE32 in PPR leagues this year, but he has jumped up to TE24 in fantasy points per game since Week 6. He could see a slight uptick in his decent volume numbers this week against the Seahawks, who have allowed the second-most receptions to tight ends in 2025, as well as the sixth-most receiving yards. He's a fringe top-18 fantasy option for Week 11.

Tyler Higbee's Steady Involvement Gives Him Streaming Appeal in Week 10

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has been targeted at least four times in each of his last three games, so he's back on the fantasy radar as a low-end streamer for Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers. Higbee is just the TE33 in PPR leagues this year, but part of that can be attributed to a slow start. He ranks as the overall TE19 over his last three games, indicating that he's not an uber-reliable fantasy starter, but managers can still plug him into their lineups if they're in a bind due to injuries or bye weeks. The Niners have allowed the 12th-fewest fantasy points and 11th-fewest yards to tight ends in 2025, so managers should be aware of Higbee's low floor.

Tyler Higbee Remains Frequent Target in Rams' Offense

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee continues to see a healthy dose of targets despite increased competition within his position group. Last week against the Saints, he caught three of four targets for 13 yards, and he salvaged his fantasy performance with a touchdown. He has 19 targets over his last four contests, as well as a touchdown in two of his last three games. The 32-year-old continues to play north of 50 percent of the snaps, even as players like Davis Allen and Terrance Ferguson continue to get involved. The Rams run plenty of two-tight end sets, creating additional opportunities for Higbee to get on the field. He already has the trust of quarterback Matthew Stafford, so as long as he continues to see a solid snap share, he'll remain a threat in the Rams' offense. He ranks as a mid-range TE2 with streaming appeal ahead of Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Tyler Higbee a Borderline Streamer for Week 9 Against New Orleans

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has low-end streaming appeal ahead of Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints. Higbee has delivered modest production recently, catching seven passes for 59 yards and one touchdown over his last two games. He also commanded six targets during his last contest back in Week 7. Most importantly, Higbee has established himself as the No. 1 tight end in Los Angeles, holding onto his role over players such as Colby Parkinson and Terrance Ferguson. This week, Higbee gets a decent matchup against the Saints, who have allowed the eighth-most touchdowns and 12th-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends in 2025. He should be viewed as a low-end TE2 with borderline streaming appeal in a productive offense.

Tyler Higbee Trending Up After Week Off

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has worked his way back onto the fantasy radar after a quiet start to the season. The veteran has 10 targets, seven catches, 59 yards, and one touchdown over his last two games, solidifying his role as the Rams' top tight end over Colby Parkinson and Terrance Ferguson. He has capitalized on the impressive efficiency of Los Angeles' passing offense this season, led by Matthew Stafford. The quarterback and tight end have maintained a solid rapport despite the presence of several weapons on offense, including Puka Nacua (ankle) and Davante Adams. While Higbee's upside is highest with Nacua sidelined, he can still be a solid TE2 option if the star receiver returns for Week 9 against the Saints. Moving forward, Higbee will continue to warrant consideration as a top-24 tight end in fantasy football.

Tyler Higbee Stepping Into Fantasy Relevance Ahead of Week 7?

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has re-emerged as a potential fantasy option heading into Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Higbee is coming off a solid showing in which he caught four passes for 40 yards and a touchdown. Furthermore, the Rams will be without Puka Nacua (ankle) on Sunday, which will put Higbee and Jordan Whittington in line to operate as Matthew Stafford's second-favorite targets behind Davante Adams. Higbee's snap share will likely remain around 60 percent, but we wouldn't be surprised to see him handle at least five targets, giving him a chance to make an impact in fantasy football. He's not a long-term solution in your lineups, but with Nacua sidelined this weekend, Higbee can be a decent streamer. For what it's worth, the Jaguars have allowed the 11th-most receiving yards to tight ends in 2025.

Tyler Higbee Emerging as an Option in Fantasy?

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee had his best game of the season in Week 6 against Baltimore, catching all four of his targets for 40 yards and a touchdown. Higbee played 66% of snaps in the game, his highest since Week 2 at Tennessee, where he saw 75.4% of snaps and caught all four of his targets for 37 yards. The veteran tight end finished tied second on the team in targets after Puka Nacua (ankle) left early with an injury. He'll be a waiver wire option this week for fantasy managers in need of a tight end, especially with Nacua expected to miss some time and opportunities opening up.
