Konata Mumpfield Fantasy Stats

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Konata Mumpfield is likely going to have an expanded role in the offense going forward. Fellow wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) is set to miss about two months of action due to a ruptured left hamstring. His absence will likely mean that Mumpfield moves into the No. 2 role in the receiving room. Mumpfield has mostly been quiet this season outside of a four-catch performance where he notched 93 receiving yards in Week 3. Fantasy managers in deep leagues that are looking for help should consider adding Mumpfield with Adams sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Konata Mumpfield is coming off his best game of the season. The 23-year-old recorded four of his eight targets for 93 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Denver Broncos. The second-year wideout stepped up big time for this offense with Puka Nacua (hip) inactive for the second straight week. He appears to be building good chemistry with quarterback Matthew Stafford. The two of them connected on a 48-yard score late in the fourth quarter. This performance should get Mumpfield more attention moving forward, but his target share should drop once Nacua is back in the mix. Mumpfield could be a dynasty stash, but he's unlikely to have a ton of weekly value once Nacua is back.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Konata Mumpfield should take on a sizable snap share against the Denver Broncos in Week 3, but he's not a lock to get onto the fantasy radar. Mumpfield played 69% of the snaps with Puka Nacua (hip) sidelined last week, catching just one pass for 12 yards. Nacua is expected to miss his second game in a row on Sunday, leaving Mumpfield installed as the de facto No. 2 receiver. However, it remains to be seen if that will lead to meaningful fantasy production, especially since Matthew Stafford has shown a strong preference for throwing to wide receiver Davante Adams and tight end Terrance Ferguson. The projected high snap share could make Mumpfield an intriguing option in extremely deep leagues, but otherwise, he's probably worth avoiding this week. He's the WR95 in RotoBaller's latest fantasy football rankings for Week 3.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Konata Mumpfield has yet to establish a role for himself, even with the Rams missing their top wideout Puka Nacua (groin). Mumpfield had just three targets and one catch for 12 yards in Week 2's win over the New York Giants. Mumpfield had a chance to really have an expanded role as the wide receiver opposite Davante Adams, but tight end Terrance Ferguson and the crew of Los Angeles tight ends saw an increased role and limited the appeal of Mumpfield while Nacua missed the game. With Nacua still iffy for Week 3, Mumpfield could have some fantasy value but will be a risky pickup off of the waiver wire. It's hard to imagine scenarios where Mumpfield would be placed into a starting lineup unless you are playing in a very deep league. Wait for Mumpfield to prove more before making him a waiver-wire priority.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Konata Mumpfield got plenty of playing time Monday night, but almost none of the passing game came with it. With Puka Nacua (hip/groin) and Jordan Whittington (quadriceps) inactive, Mumpfield led the Rams' wide receivers with a 69% snap share and caught one of two targets for 12 yards. That is the part fantasy managers should focus on. The opportunity was there, and Matthew Stafford still looked elsewhere, with Davante Adams and the tight ends doing most of the damage. Nacua's status for Week 3 against Denver remains uncertain, so Mumpfield could stay on the field if Los Angeles is short-handed again. That does not make him a 12-team pickup yet. RotoBaller has Mumpfield 60th on its September 23 mid-week waiver board and recommends him only in 14-team PPR leagues. He is worth a deep-league stash while the injuries sort themselves out, but he needs more than snaps before fantasy managers can trust him.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Konata Mumpfield stepped up admirably in Week 16's loss to the Seahawks, while teammate Davante Adams (hamstring) sat with an injury, leaving fantasy managers to believe he was next in line with the veteran shelved. However, he slid back down the pecking order in the following game, signaling instability in a loaded Rams' offense. Mumpfield saw a robust eight targets two weeks back, but that slipped down to five in their loss to the Falcons on Monday night, as he took a back seat to teammate Xavier Smith (chest) (4/67) and tight end Colby Parkinson (6/53). Moreover, Puka Nacua still handled a hefty 10 targets. With Adams out, another asset in LA's passing game is sure to step up. That said, Mumpfield can't be relied upon for consistent fantasy production, considering quarterback Matthew Stafford's propensity to spread the ball around when Adams isn't active.

Los Angeles Rams rookie wide receiver Konata Mumpfield has stepped up as the team's second option in the Rams' receiver room. In his last two games, Mumpfield has seen 13 targets, ranking second on the team during this span, but has yet to have a solid connection with quarterback Matthew Stafford. Veteran receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) has missed the previous two games and is unlikely to play in Week 18. The Saturday game between the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers could be a factor as well. If the 49ers win, the Rams would be locked into the sixth seed and could very well rest their starters, including Stafford and potentially star receiver Puka Nacua. Fantasy managers still playing in Week 18 will need to assess this Rams situation, as Mumpfield could be a streaming option if Nacua sits against the Arizona Cardinals.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Konata Mumpfield is expected to remain in a larger role during Monday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 17. Mumpfield stepped up as the No. 2 receiver alongside Puka Nacua last week when Davante Adams (hamstring) was sidelined. Adams remains doubtful for Week 17, leaving Mumpfield in line to start alongside Nacua. In the loss to Seattle, the 23-year-old commanded eight targets but finished with a modest total of three catches for 40 yards. That was enough to put him on the WR3/flex radar in deep leagues, but he could have produced at an even higher level if he had caught more of his targets. Perhaps he'll make that leap on Monday night in a softer matchup against the Falcons, who have allowed the fourth-most receiving touchdowns and ninth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers in 2025. Mumpfield's floor is pretty low, but he has top-36 wide receiver upside on Monday night if he can catch more passes than last week.

Across 15 games this season, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Konata Mumpfield has recorded just eight receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown on 17 targets. However, the 23-year-old saw a spike in playing time in Week 16 with star Rams wideout Davante Adams (hamstring) sidelined by a hamstring injury, and recorded three catches for 40 yards on eight targets. Rams head coach Sean McVay has said that Adams is likely to remain out for the team's Week 17 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, so Mumpfield could spend another week as the team's WR2 alongside Puka Nacua. Los Angeles uses more two and three-tight end personnel groupings than just about any team in the NFL, which limits Mumpfield's playing time even with Adams out. In Week 16, Mumpfield played 46% of the Rams' offensive snaps. Still, he could be a flex option for deep-league fantasy managers in Week 17.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Konata Mumpfield took on a larger role last Thursday, and he continues to trend up ahead of Week 17 against the Atlanta Falcons. Mumpfield has earned more targets lately with Davante Adams (knee, hamstring) sidelined. While the door remains open for Adams to face the Falcons, he faces an uphill battle to suit up. Therefore, Mumpfield has an opportunity to produce once again. Last week, as Matthew Stafford's No. 2 option in the passing game, the rookie caught three of his eight targets for 40 yards while handling a 46% snap share. His target share might regress this weekend, but his overall production should benefit from a matchup against the Falcons, who have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points and fourth-most catches to wide receivers in 2025. Mumpfield is a potential WR3/flex this week, and he's an intriguing waiver wire target, especially in deeper leagues.
