Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid (ankle) will be back in the lineup on Wednesday versus Vegas. Amazingly, McDavid has missed just three games after initially being ruled out for 2-3 weeks. The Oilers captain hasn't been quite at his best this season but has still averaged a point per game through 10 outings, scoring three goals and dishing out seven assists. He's projected to skate on the first line with Jeff Skinner and Zach Hyman. Leon Draisaitl drops down to the second line and will be flanked by Viktor Arvidsson and Vasily Podkolzin.

Travis Konecny Tallies Four Points In Losing Effort
Philadelphia Flyers winger Travis Konecny ended an offensive slump in impressive style on Tuesday, notching two goals and two assists in a 6-4 loss to Carolina. He joined Ottawa's Anton Forsberg as the second netminder in the league to keep multiple clean sheets in 2024-25. Jacob Markstrom also boasts one shutout, giving New Jersey a league-high three shutouts in total. The team has been impressive at the back and both goalies deserve plaudits. Allen improved to 3-1-1 on Monday and has recorded a 2.60 goals-against average with a .904 save percentage.

Kuemper was hardly tested in the game, taking his record to 4-0-3. The veteran netminder has allowed 2.67 goals with a .899 save percentage. The latter number definitely has room for improvement, but Kuemper has played well with the Kings, rewarding fantasy managers who picked him up. David Rittich will likely take on Minnesota in Tuesday's tough matchup before Kuemper returns to the crease later in the week. He'll aim to extend his point streak in meetings with Vancouver and Columbus.
